Disappointing news to add to Porteous' injury - both these players were defensive stalwarts for Hibs, in fine form in the past month and the Fates have not favoured Hibs/Neil Lennon very well. Add in the exodus of Milligan, Boyle and McLaren to the Asia Cup tourney and this situation is "killing us" together with too many games being played in December!!! Thumb down And that fixture list??? Who the #### compiled that testy list of fixtures during this period!!!??? I must add that my respect for Neil Lennon has increased tenfold because he has come out of it fairly well and managed a threadbare squad effectively under very trying circumstances!! He deserves some help from Hibs board to "tweak things" during January as we've discovered that Hibs are a better team than the likes of Hearts (forget that ridiculous undeserved result tonight!) and Rangers still cannae beat a Lennon team while Celtic discovered that a reasonably strong Hibs side can certainly compete with them! With proper support from Dempster etc, I think this team can be improved to quite a decent level based on current Scottish footie standards. DO IT LEEANN!!

I do agree, Scott Allan was at the game the night and the word is he will sign for us this window. We need another attacking option and some pace from midfield. hyndman and Horgan just aren't quick enough.

Heres hoping the manager gets the support he needs.

0762,
I said just before the Celtic game that I could only see us picking up a point or two from that terrible fixture list of Celtic, Rangers, Rangers and Hearts and the team managed 5 points , and were unlucky against Hearts not to get a point,. You quite rightly point out that a fairly strong Hibs team can compete with the best Scotland has to offer. Hopefully the board see things our way and inject some cash into the team. If they have any sense they`ll realise it`s a certainty to keep attendances at current levels.
