Hibs v Livingston, Sat 22 December, KO 3.00pm

I think this fixture could well be a "turning point" in Hibs season and as important and crucial as the previous match v Rangers! We are playing a team that plays out a very good collective game plan and we must be up for this challenge. We are at home and must try to drive home that advantage as we can leap above Livy with a victory. This is the type of lesser game that Hibs have been previously "messing up". We need to do this and I hope Neil somehow sets up the right game plan and Hibs formation to beat them because it won't be easy!! We'll have to earn it!! I know that a full Hibs team can definitely beat Livy on our grass pitch but we don't currently have that luxury. It's a case of deploying a tactical master plan with limited player resources.

This could very well be a big 3 points for us if we can do it. We can play a lot better than we did against sevco but livi have done really well and we have a lot of injuries/players half fit.

FT 1-1 and a chance to "overtake Livingston" definitely squandered!!!! They've taken the lead "against the run of play" and we're given a huge opp to equalise in the 2nd half with a pk and another striker lets us down!!! Thumb down I never fancied Kamberi (body language all wrong) to score it and proved right!
At least we didn't lose this game and certainly didn't deserve to lose it as we were the better team although it was a dull match TBH! Neil's changes and tactical plan almost "paid off" and no surprise that their goalie, Kelly, was their MOTM. Neil clearly trying to rest certain players and manage his resources very carefully. We move on!

Not the best match but we could and should have won it. Not for the first time the opposition keeper is the man of the match and not for the first time we rely on a defender to score after the strikers let us down. Porteous looks a real prospect, hopefully for many years to come at Hibs, and has the commitment and drive not shown by many of his teammates. Ambrose was another who played well today but I wish he would realise he's not a creative midfielder!  Rolleyes  Boyle could have had a couple, but on the other hand, we could have lost late on after a glaring miss by a Livi player.

I don't think we're going to get any stronger over the next few games, so let's hang in there and take our chances when they come along. That means you, Kamberi.

Noticeable that Neil "slamming" Kamberi in the post match comments and tabloids. IMO a dangerous practise and I reckon Kamberi is one of that group of non-triers who Neil previously criticised! He is clearly losing patience!

We weren't very good today, but we did have the best amount of the chances and if the pk got converted we probably would have took all 3 points. But as Ritchie points out livi could have won it too. Our Problem is kamberi and mclaren haven't got going this season really and the midfield has been hit and miss with all the injuries and changes in personnel we have had.

Ambrose was the best player on the park by some distance I felt, I actually think he is versatile enough to play a bit further up the park.

Lenny lets rip at kamberi afterwards, I could see he was raging with his penalty but its a risky one. We really need him back to his best for the game at Ibrox.

He is also one yellow card away from a suspension and Neil clearly wants to have him available for the Derby match but playing much better than of late.

Kamberi has been one of our poorer players over the last half dozen games and in that time missed 4 or 5 very good chances to score.the penalty yesterday was a pathetic attempt but can`t be simply put down to a loss of confidence. He has to move on quickly or Neil may get rid of him in exchange for someone who can put the ball in the back of the net.
In defence of Kamberi he has been forced to fit into several attacking options because of injuries and suspensions so its` not been easy for him either. Alarge slice of good luck is due to come out way - I hope it gets here before it`s too late.
