A distinct case of deja vu this week!! Same paltry total as last week with just 30 points being scored!!! Only two posters scored on the Gamball, only one on the Bonus and just 3 got the score ball point. 5 correct scores in total and 4 players scored zero or below!!! Of course the one prediction we would all have got was Beefy’s inability to score 20 points yet again, this time just missing out by 19 points!!!! In fact the scoring committee scored a weekly low of -1 points between them!!!
Lets start at the top, the only bright spot this week was Matt on 11 points, leading the scores for the 2nd week running mainly on the back of a correct score Gamball!! Just behind him was Worldclass, whose 8 points from the Gamball ended up being his total as well. BBB rounds out the top 3, he had a week high 4 correct results but missed on all his balls!!
Midtable this week was Sanjay, 3 points, Lord Snooty, 3 points and Beefy with a solitary point!! 2 correct scores between them along with the only correct result on the bonus in the PL this week saw them just keep their noses above the water line!!
The Bottom 4 scored a combined-3 points, at least Zinman and Derby managed not to lose any points but Amelia on -1 was only just eclipsed by the completely out of form SCO who ended on -2, the second week in a row with a negative score!!! The table will not be pretty for me this week!!!!
Cheers

A familiar face returns to the top of the Premiership, with the “Desmond” Gamball gaining him most of his points this week, as Matt returns to pole position having occupied that position for the majority of the early weeks at the beginning of the season as he dumps BBB back into 2nd spot after his week long spell at the top though it couldn’t be closer as only a solitary point separates them
St Charles’s woes continued as he followed up last weeks minus, which cost him his position at the top, with another minus score which cost him another place as he slipped into 3rd ahead of Zinman who actually managed to close the gap ans stay 4th as reward for scoring no points this week.
Derby just a point further back was another not to trouble the scorers this week but did hold on to 5th at a reduced margin to Worldclass who now sits just 4 points away in 6th with his 8 point Gamball tucked away in his score.
Sanjay makes way dropping down into 7th, though he did edge a couple of points further away from the relegation play-off spot which Beefy seems to have taken quite a liking to in 8th.
The bottom 2 didn’t help their cause much this week as Amelia suffered a minus week to keep her firmly stuck in 9th, while Snooty holds the unwanted title of the worst Gamball predictor across the 2 leagues as another one went astray to leave a -30 point penalty for those games and he still sits an agonising point short of his 100 for the season.

OK, I think I need to explain the rules a bit more clearly. You can use the bonus ball on any match you like, so it's probably best to select the prediction that you're most certain of getting right, not on a complete long shot. I feel this explanation is necessary because yet again the bonus caused mayhem in the Championship with only 1 player getting it right. Obviously Man City were bound to lose for the first time in decades and Salford?
It was a week when scores changed dramatically in injury time. Walsall snatched a victory from a losing position - 5 players gaining as a result, Wo1ve5 luck was on display again -good news for Joker and Themaclad, bad news for every other decent person. And, of course, there was JRod's goal of the season which all of us were able to celebrate.
Quite a spread of scores this week but top of the pack is Twerton, one of 2 players to get the gamball score spot on and also the only one to get his bonus right. Second is Joker - yes, you did read this right and it has been subject to 4 recounts - a correct gamball result, 2 correct scores and a positive score ball giving him his 2nd best score of the season. Close behind in 3rd is Baggie_One, getting the most correct results and even more grateful than the rest of us for JRod's wonder strike.
A bit of a gap to this week's mid-table dwellers, 4eva and Themaclad together on 8 points, both losingout on their gamballs and bonuses. They lie just ahead of Quantum, the other player to get the gamball score right but this week regretting not playing it.
Bomber at least did better than last week, but was only saved from a second negative week by his last gasp score ball. He wasn't helped by the late goals from Walsall and Wo1ve5. And then there was Stairs, just the one correct prediction and dreadful ball playing to leave him marooned at the bottom on minus 3.

Plenty of toing and froing in the Championship standings as 5 of the 8 players found themselves in a different position than last week and it was the basement boys who topped the weekly table.
One of the constants was that Themaclad maintained his grip on top spot leading the way by 21 points which when you look at the last few weeks scoring, could take a bit of pegging back, though this seasons surprise package, Quantum could be the one to take up the challenge as he climbed a place into 2nd and the other promotion spot.
Bomber suffered another shocker of a week that cost him a position as he slipped into 3rd as 4eva closed the gap in 4th despite the seemingly inevitable 2 point penalty for getting his Bonus Ball wrong. Not only have these cost him 26 points but he also managed to stop Man City winning just to confirm he can jinx any team.
25 points then back to BaggiOne who climbed a spot into 5th, where he holds a 2 point lead over Twerton who not only topped the scoring charts this week and moved up a place to 6th, but also posted a seasons best score into the bargain.
Stairs was the sufferer in the bottom half of the table as he nosedived 2 places down into 7th as normal service was resumed with his Gamball prediction, while Joker finally showed some form and closed the gap on those above him ever so slightly to sit 46 points adrift at the bottom.
