Some Bob's Boarders are already wondering what a Southern manager will know about recruiting NORTHERN players. Well maybe they need to get real, our new division IS predominantly SOUTHERN and most of the players I would recruit if they let me loose are currently based south of us. We need to get them to move to the area and not be commuters, but Derbyshire has a lot of advantages housing-wise over the unaffordable south east. Strangely de-selection is likely to prove an even more intractable problem than recruitment. If you ever needed proof that NO DEAL is better than a BAD DEAL - look at the bad deals we're lumbered with.
