Ok guys an easier set of Fixtures this week as a result of someone being let out of the Looney House for the weekend, However .....................
The scoring just seems to get worse in the top flight. I seem to say this every week guys but your all just Handing Zinman the title on a plate.
I mean his fantastic score this week ... Yes a huge erm 10 Points was enough to clinch him top spot for the week i mean WTF !!!, And this only because the Wolves game bailed him out with 8 of those points.
In 2nd a improvement for Matt although that doesn't take a lot of doing, but in a low scoring week it may help a little, with the help of a correct result on the gamball Matt came in with 8 points.
In 3rd we had Derby with 5 point correctly guessing the results in exactly 50% of the games, In 4th
we have Sanjay with 3 Points (Hope your all keeping up to date with all this huge scoring going on)
In =5th we have three players on 2 points World Class, Amelia and Joker who after a couple of nose bleeds is back to his usual self, Twerton is in 8th being the only other player to make a positive sore this week with a solitary point !! 9th place goes to BBB who finishes the week where he began it on ZERO !
DD (oh dear) our top dog for so long has really hit the Buffers another minus score has allowed Zinman more breathing space than he should have, Come on guys a bit of Pressure and I'm sure he will crack !! DD scored -1 and down in 10th place.
So that leaves me the Twit Twoo of the the week, as if you already gathered from the hint, the bottom player this week was St Silly Charlie Owl with a score of -4 never one to take the Pee out of anyone

Beefy

With 4 weeks of the season left, not a single position change as everyone stayed as they were last week, but that doesn't quite tell the story as leads were extended and gaps closed in a week when scores weren't spectacular but point swings could turn out to be all important at the end of the season.

A perfect example shown by our table topper Zinman, who courtesy of yet another correct score Bonus (nearly a 1/3 of his points total have come this way

St Charles in 5th couldn't take advantage of the lowly scores above him, instead losing ground with the weeks lowest score, which left him closer to dropping down the table as opposed to climbing it. Ready to capitalise are Worldclass and Derby in 6th and 7th respectively with just a point between them.
Matt consolidates his position in 8th thanks in the main for securing points on the big scoring balls, and Amelia ever so slightly improved her chances of avoiding the drop albeit by pulling a solitary point away from the bottom 2 of Twerton in 10th, who probably needs a really good week pretty soon to have any hope of escaping relegation, and Joker at the bottom who definitely needs 2 or 3 good weeks out of 4 if he's going to pull off the great escape
Bomber
An odd week with a wide spread of scores which may have a significant impact on the promotion race from the second tier. And also one very familiar story which I'll get to later. Two matches received no correct predictions, with Brentford's last minute goal costing everyone points.
Just in case anyone has been hibernating since Saturday afternoon - and how some of us wish we had been - Beefy finally had a decent week, helped by his incredibly lucky balls, and heads this week's table. Correct scores from both the gamball and Zinman's bonus, helped the "leaping gazelle" (still an image I'm struggling with) to an impressive, but lucky, 26 points, comfortably ahead of his promotion rivals. Clear in 2nd place, with the same number of correct result predictions as Beefy and the only other player to predict the gamball draw, is Baggie_One, continuing his late battle to join the promotion race. I suspect he'll need help from the players above him to make the top 2 but, based on the last couple of weeks, he may well get it.
Another big gap to Stairs in third place, leading this week's also rans, helped by a correct score in Wolves promotion party (it hurts to type that) and a successful bonus. Snooty, for so long the league leader, looked certain to collect another negative score until rescued by 8 points from the Wolves match to snatch 4th spot. 4eva, Salop and Bomber all just crept into positive territory while Quantum failed to trouble the scorers.
And finally the familiar sight of Vic propping up the table with another negative score, proving that last week's table topping effort was a false dawn.
Zin
If the Premiership table was lacking any change in positions then the Championship certainly wasn't.
Credit where it's due and with no hard feelings at all

1/ A seasons best score of 26
2/ The only 16 point Gamball success
3/ 8 point Bonus Ball correct score
4/ Passing the 200 point mark for the season
and here we go

He's already quoting Warnock by saying "he'd prefer to be the hunter than the hunted"

In response to that
1/ Use your skills to fend off the hunters
2/ Story of your sex life - peaking far too soon
3/ Favourite for promotion only you can lose it
and 4/ YOUR PREDICTIONS NEED TO GO UP FIRST, NOT LAST AS IS USUAL -ok???
Snooty drops to 2nd after 19 weeks at the top,

Also dropping a place this week to make room for the "wide load"

BaggieOne in 5th injected a bit of life back into his season and a repeat over the next 3 or 4 weeks could yet see him have a say in the race for a Premiership place next season, while Stairs in 6th is probably too far back to improve his position and also needs to be mindful that he's only 5 points ahead of Salop in 7th as their own little personal battle for placings continues.
Quantum sits in splendid isolation in 8th and looks destined to remain there as he's 25 points behind those above him and 20 clear of Vicar who still occupies wooden spoon spot for the 12th week on the trot
