Gone are the days when you used to huddle round the radio on a Monday dinner time with eager expectation of a cracking cup draw, sadly the likes of Mansfield, Tranmere came out with great regularity. We also got the wonderful delights of Scarborough, Whitley Bay and Telford who beat us.
Draw time here we go do miss the velvet bag.
Canvey Island or Havant and Waterlooville away, very winnable probably on telly and it's miles away

Why should a man go to work, if he has the health and strength to stay in bed?

We've not even had a game on the BBC yet but already they are doing a better job at presenting the FA cup than ITV.
Some great ties as well, my personal favourite is the potential Halifax v Bradford game

Canvey Island almost went under not so long back. They got to the Conference Premier, which was far too far for the size of their club.
Havant &Waterlooville famously nearly got a result at Liverpool recently. Seems like about three years ago but I bet when I look it up it will be over ten.
I think you will be on telly whoever it's against. The BBC will be desperate for you to lose and their bias will be unbelievable.
When we lost at Accrington in the early 2000s we were only one league above them but the way the BBC went on about it was ridiculous.
Just looked it up. It was 2008 they played at Anfield.

H and W have just beaten Southsea United 12-0 in the Portsmouth Senior Cup, they have one of our ex players Brian Stock playing for them, always rated him sadly fell out with Billy Davies and was soon sent to Doncaster.

Have to admit I had to look up Havant to see where it was!! Always a tricky game playing a non-league side away from home, so hopefully that is drummed into the players!! Do you expect to be resting normal first team players for this game??

He'll put out a team to do the job given by the time we get to Hampshire we'll have clocked the best part of 2000 miles on the road in the past three weeks and some will be leg weary
