Ok guys so this week with the exception of three of you it seemed to be a little bit of a struggle and a low scoring one,
Never mind we can all relax a little this week as this seems as good a time as any to remind you the prediction League takes a break this week as those boring International Friendlies take over

So a Interesting couple of names share the top of the leaderboard this week with 22 points each, the winner edging out his competitor by the virtue of scoring just one extra result more, the points however remain the same on 22 but step forward this weeks winner .........................
St Charles Owl, yes our resident Owl who has done nothing but bemoan his luck over the last few weeks with numerous low scores has finally found his early season form, a correct result result on the Gamball along the way and three correct scores just edged out Matt who had just one result less than St Charles but yet guessing the Gamball Spot on !!, Shout out to Matt the newcomer to our league this year who has really struggled from the off but the last month or so he really seems to be finding his feet and has put together some great scoring streaks, St Charles greater all round predicting this week just keeps Matt off the top spot.
So down to third and our only other decent score with 18 points is another who seems to be finding some form of late is World Class a correct result and a couple of correct scores sees World Class rise continue.
The best of the rest now and it seems a while since Zinman had a decent score and this week was the same really, Just 4 Points scored and yet still finds himself in 4th place those challenging for the title really have missed a trick or two this past month, if Zinman goes on to win the title you only have yourselves to blame, not to worry however if I have to do the write up on his title winning week i can now claim it was by default due to incompetence of you all bloody chasing him

In 5th 6th and 7th place with just a single point comes Joker (not much change there then) DD (struggles continue) and Sanjay who seems to be pretty much up and down each week, at least these three keep out of the minus scores, the rest however I'm afraid are not.
In 8th place is Deby with -2, Amelia and BBB are joint 9th with -4 and last but not least after a awful week is Twerton who after a couple of decent weeks will now surely slip back a little after a horrendous -7.
See you all after the International Break
Beefy

Zinman goes into the international break with a healthy 17 point lead and as Beefy so correctly said that’s more down to the fact that nobody around the top seems to be able to apply any sort of pressure on our leader

In fact the 3 below him all lost ground as last weeks top 4 could only muster 2 points collectively between them. DD retained 2nd again eeking out another few points from BBB in 3rd with Sanjay inching just a handful of points closer in equal 4th.
It may be that somebody comes with a late season rattle to push themselves into contention for the title while the front runners struggle for points, and St Charles could be one of those even at this late stage as he climbed a place to share that 4th spot. He’s 28 points away from the lead but that was 46 last week and another similar performance after the break could see things boiling up nicely

Worldclass is another who’s hitting a purple patch of form which has seen him add 61 points to his tally for the season, and climbs a place to 6th, he may be too far back, but those last 3 weeks have seen him close a 93 point gap down to 42 at the end of this week. There’s 7 weeks of the Prediction League season left by my calculations, 7 weeks too long for us suffering Baggies fans

Back to the table and Derby drops a place into 7th and appears to be in his flip flops and on a beach somewhere, if only there was prize money for places………………… but there’s not

While Amelia drops to 9th, seemingly having lost her Gamball knack although when it’s your own team in them, your heart tends to rule your head

For that to happen Twerton in 10th, who did notch up the 100 for the season – just, needs to pick up some points consistently and avoid the big minuses that he invariably suffers, while Joker needs a miracle something similar to the Baggies, as he’s a massive 54 points from safety having managed only 59 in admittedly a shorter season than most.
Bomber
Just when we all thought he'd given up, back storms 4eva with his best performance for a very long time to head this week's table with an impressive 22 points. 4eva collected 24 points from the 3 premier league games, all correct scores including the gamball, to help him to a very comfortable lead. Stairs was the only other player to correctly predict the Gamball result - one of 6 correct results for him - to come in second, though it could have been so much better had he reversed his insurance and bonus balls.
Vic clearly spent many hours considering his predictions before coming up with a highly innovative method which delivered him third spot....I suspect we may see him sticking to this policy in future.
Salop was the other player in double figures despite losing points on the Gamball - recognition of Albion's usual performance helped him gain maximum points from his bonus.
Beefy and Bomber just about scraped in to positive territory but didn't do their promotions prospects much good - both will be very grateful that their bonus guesses ended up correct. Bomber was the only participant to predict an Albion win. I can only assume that alcohol played a significant role in his thinking.
Baggieone didn't bother the scorers this week - so much effort for lierally no reward.
Is Lord Snooty getting complacent at the top? Another few weeks like this one and Beefy will start claiming that the title is in his sights (he's probably already claimed this, but like most of his posts, nobody's taking him seriously....yet). But even Snooty's performance was overshadowed this week by Quantum with a truly stellar minus 10, saved from a full house (or should that be an empty house) by Accrington Stanley.

A similar story to the Premiership in the Championship as our leader Lord Snooty has gotten off lightly with 2 relatively poor weeks as those closest at the time have failed to capitalise when they’ve had the chance and as I mentioned earlier, with just 7 weeks left, the lead he has may still be enough. If we look back 7 weeks it stood at 25, at the end of this week it’s still 18 points so only 7 points have been gained in the same time span.
Beefy remains 2nd and in possession of that precious promotion place but while inching a tiny bit closer to the top, he also saw his advantage clipped by a familiar face from earlier in the season as 4eva moved up two places into 3rd courtesy of scoring more points this week than he had managed collectively since the start of the year. If this is a sign of things to come it would culminate in a reward for his early season form and a recovery from a disastrous middle part of the campaign

Bomber in 4th and BaggiOne in 5th both slip a place from last week and although only 13 and 17 points respectively off a promotion place certainly need to up their efforts to improve on the solitary point that they mustered between them this week

Salop retains 6th after a decent week and could still be close enough to have a say at the end of the season if he can maintain the form that’s seen him add 39 points to his tally in the last 3 consistent weeks.
Stairs climbed a place into 7th and passed 100 correct predictions for the season in the process, while enjoying a juicy 23 point swing over Quantum now in 8th as they swapped positions.
BaggieVicar enjoyed a similar 21 point swing to leave himself only 8 points short of passing the wooden spoon over. What’s the odds he can get off the bottom ermmm 2/1 I’d say
