Takeover or Take Under?
#1
Just thought I'd post this for any readers who don't take a gander at Bob's Board, the Chesterfield Forum for the people not wise enough to be on Babble.

It was posted by Moondog who is close to our beloved Mr Carson of the snappy suits and no-wheels-on-my-wagon approach to finalising deals.

It appears our takeover is a Norwegain Blue.

"I've asked AC if the deal is floundering, his response,

"Yes...they have talked a good story all the way. I have now asked for their lawyers name and proof of funds deposited. Been going on for over 6 weeks. Now they would not get involved in transfer window. Can’t see it happening"

Come on Dev, we all read Bob's Board.

Isn't it funny. No one knows if the takeover bid is on or off at Chesterfield and at Newcastle Mike Ashley has ended takeover talks and said there is no deal.

Other people VIEW our board who don't comment Matt ........... People from other clubs, newbies, guests .........

If the issue that prompted them to look was the takeover they'd expect to see what was happening or not - now ........

It wasn't aimed at you, me, Dancing or Blue ........... though I thought if you hadn't taken a look today it might prompt you to see if anyone was now saying anything interesting. From my own point of view much of what is said on this topic is either so financially literate that it goes over my head, or so illiterate and stupid that I feel like killing myself.

If we take the view that if it is already on Bob's we all will have looked, we might as well up-sticks and just go to Bob's. That's why I explained what Bob's Board is ..........

We often have twenty plus views of threads ........

The more I hear AC talk the more I'm convinced he is a liar because he cannot possibly be so incompetent without trying .

Pooch I love that. Only now he thinks of approaching lawyers ........ What?

I have wondered if he suffers from having mulitple personalities. Sometimes he seems to know and understand complex stuff, and the next time you hear him simple concepts baffle him.

And Matt, you demonstrated why I trust you implicitly. If someone comes up with an argument you think is right you don't hesitate to admit it. I WISH I WERE THAT OPEN!

Because Dev if someone makes a good case in a debate or an argument and you can't find fault with what there saying, sometimes just sometimes you have to agree and admit they are right.

You do realise how radically it would change the world if that was how people behaved Matt?

Under those circumstances I would believe in democracy.

It is such a simple change too. Imagine PM's questions and Mr Corbyn wades in on the NHS ...... Mrs May replies, "Yes you have convinced me. I'll instruct the Chancellor to inject £10 billion into Social Care, we'll double the number of places to train doctor's and nurses and immediately provide a 20% pay rise for nurses, and we'll increase the number of beds in the NHS to match levels in France and Germany. This is urgent and we will borrow to make it happen ....... I am considering scrapping Trident as you suggested last week ....."

Mr Corbyn would immediately need the services of the NHS.

I once wrote a ten point Manifesto for a political party I wanted to call the Wrong Party - Vote for the Wrong Party. They were committing always to admit it whenever they got something wrong, to be transparent in all their dealings and always to answer the question asked rather than to skirt around it.
