You just couldn't make this up in terms of one footie club's misfortune impacting on the efforts of another footie club that is trying to pick up some positive form and start progressing. This is the last thing that Hibs need on top of the loss of Jordon Forster for two months. Alan Combe 'between the sticks' or will Hull's manager, Steve Bruce, come up with an alternative goalie option, through an ET deal, before impinging on Hibs 1st team operations? We'll find out soon enough if we're gonna be fecked about again! Sad

It's definitely magic! Thumb up

I can't imagine Oxley will be in the Hull first team or even on the bench in the EPL. I'll be phoning Steve Bruce about all his errors, so he won't want him! Whistle
Cabbage is still good for you

Steve Bruce already has his 3rd option goalie, Joe Cracknell, but it looks like the cover for him will come in the form of Oxley.

Pretty sure the rules of an international loan deal preclude the option to recall before the end of its term. If it's a full season loan, he's at Hibs for the full season. Nothing Steve Bruce can do about it.

It's only a six month loan Trus.

Even if it's only a six-month loan, it still can't go through out-with a transfer window. It's an international loan, so registration has to change from one association to another. That can only happen in a transfer window.

It's good to see that form of protection given to the 'loan club', in this case, Hibs FC. Just confirmed on SSN that this is indeed the case and Steve Bruce has failed in recalling Mark Oxley - good news for Hibs in the lead up to an important Embro Derby fixture!! Thumb up

Good to see my trust in football authorities sticking to their own rules justified for once. Thumb up

Trusevich,
Just been confirmed that Oxley will see out his loan but that is second hand so fingers crossed.
If true it will take some pressure off the team
