They simply ignore the fact that old co was liquidated, as such lost its SFA registration, there for any place in Scottish football, the newco was given a temp membership to the SFA to allow them to play Brechin while the old co was still a member, 2 different clubs as 2 different registrations.
they were not relegated, they were not put down to the bottom as punishment, they were allowed to join the SFA and SFL in the 3rd division as a new entity everything else is a rewriting of history
