When Rodgers whines about the financial gap between Celtic and the european elite he should remember the gap between Celtic and the other clubs here.

That said,its clear the Celtic board know what they are doing. Investing in a good manager and better players has boosted turnover.

As the saying goes - 'Money talks' and the monopoly is there for all to see. It's a pity the MMC have no great bearing on footie ops much like they do in business activities to encourage healthy competition.

Not our fault we are a well run company that is maximising our revenue streams. Its up to the rest to maximise their revenues.
That said the SFA and the SPFL have a huge amount of blame to shoulder.
The Scottish TV rights have been sold off far to cheaply, our tv audiences, and figure are had to get suggest something from us getting paid 1/10 for each person watching to 1/4 of the same domestic payments to the EPL.
Yes I accept we cant get their kind of money but why would each viewer be worth only 10% of each one for the EPL??

Well the bbc contribution alone doesn't work out proportionately - about £1.3M of bbc viewers' licence fee money up here v £63M in England - that's not a demographic 'balance'!

English one is paid from the central BBC pot
the Scottish one is from the BBC Scotland one

so we are subsidising English football through what is really taxation
