What happens when Grant Holt goes back?
#1
I can't see James Vaughan being fit and Nakhi Wells needs someone like Grant Holt up front with him. James Vaughan hasn't been fulfilling that role when he is fit. Do you agree? If so, what happens when we lose Grant Holt?

We will go back to being shit up front

Or to put it more politely

We will be toothless up top

If he goes back - what's stopping us extending his loan if Vaughan still has or get's another hang-nail? What's stopping us extending his loan anyway?

On performance so far I hope we can and do extend it.

I've always been a Holt fan - actually have a postcard of him on my desk from his Norwich days. As such, keeping him would be ideal.

extending his deal should be pretty easy , by all account Rosler has no interest in keeping him at Wigan and when he was there was making him train with the U21's and left him out of the team picture
I'd happily keep him at town until the end of the season

Gate prices go up by £10 per game to pay his £26grand a week, all hell breaks out, fans boycott as he returns to the Pie Munchers and we have to give Stead a new contract cos he's on a fraction of GH's wonga.
Would love him to stay the whole season and then we can offload JV thank him for his efforts and look to break the bank to make him permanent on a 2yr option for 3yr. Today, as at Wolves, he kept 3 of their back 4 busy, ruffles a few feathers, gets stuck in and winds up the opposition and it works!

Agree with that Sloppy. If he's happy to take a relatively huge drop in wages (would Rossler change his tune if he did?) to something we can potentiallt afford then sign him up. He'd still be on funny money for kicking a bag of wind and a few center backs around.
