Next season's SPFL fixtures revealed today and Hibs first game is v the Jags - IMO not a bad opening match and it will be in front of a big Hibs support at ER Stadium. I wanna see Hibs 'lay down a marker' of intent for the rest of the season and see where it takes us now we are back in the top league!

Yeah I agree glad we've got a home game to start with not a easy game but not one of the bigger club especially with having a trip to Ibronx the following week.

I honestly thought HFC where going to face either sevco or hertz at Easter Rd in the first game already looking forward to facing hertz under the lights at a packed Easter Rd...... BRING IT ON

Thistle are a decent side,it should be a real test for us.

We'll see how fickle the Huns are when it comes to this confrontation and I'm not referring to their players or coaching staff because all have significantly changed since the 'bread man's' departure. As for their fans, I'm sure their poisonous behaviour will be self-evident before, during and after this match - IMO not a nice fixture if we're talking about the true integrity of the sport!!

Agreed about the Jags being a fairly tough opener and these early games are important going forward of that there is no doubt. These are the games we have to win and I think we will win this one alright. I'd be happy with any top 6 finish in our first season back where we belong and that should be achievable with the resources we have compared to the other SPFL sides. Plus the bigger crowds at ER should help us too.
