According to Footballgroundmap.com, the average football fan has visited 42.68 football grounds. I've been to 60 (four of those were stadium visits, not actual games - Real Madrid, Barcelona, Ajax Amsterdam and Sydney's Allianz Stadium). I still have seven Premier League grounds to visit - Arsenal, Manchester City, West Ham, Brighton and Hove Albion, Swansea and Leicester City (all of these are their respective new stadiums - I've been to all their old grounds except Swansea's) and Burnley.

Of the current 92 I've been to the following
Premiership, 18 just Stoke City(I went to the old ground) and West Ham although I've seen the athletics there. Never went to White Hart lane but they play at Wembley now.
Championship, 24
League 1, 20 I need to visit Fleetwood,Oxford,Wimbledon and Shrewsbury(did the old ground)
League 2, 17 I need to visit Coventry(never seen us play Coventry ever in 34years),Cambridge,Barnet,Morcambe,Crawley,Newport and now Forest Green.
So 79 in the League, that's either following Huddersfield or England
Then I've got loads that have been knocked down or non league or abroad, too many to mention
Darlington x2
Brighton x2
Chester
Altringham
Scarborough
Bath
Northampton
Some proper old school grounds
Last new ground was Borussia Dortmond in March watching England, the next one will be the National Stadium in Malta in September quickly followed by West Ham(if I can get a ticket that is)
Quick tot up on that site and I've 137 new and old grounds

As someone who lives in Scotland, Joe (my son) and I are working our way through the "crap grounds of Scotland", focusing mainly on grounds below the SPL. You've not lived until youve been to Cowdenbeath and Albion Rovers

UK
The Hawthorns
Home Park - Plymouth Argyle - Visited multiple times when I was at University
Wembley - Stadium tour
Stamford Bridge - Chelsea - Visited with a Chelsea supporting friend to watch Chelsea vs Shakhtar Donetsk in the 2012/2013 Champions League Group Stage.
Outside of UK
Amsterdam Arena - Ajax - Watched Ajax beat PSV Eindhoven 1-0 in January 2014. It is by far the best football atmosphere that I have been a part of and the Ajax fans were awesome.
Estadio Riazor - A Coruña - Watched Deportivo La Coruña draw 2-2 with Rayo Vallecano when I was on holiday in A Coruña in late August through to early September 2014.
Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi - Verona - I watched Hellas Verona lose 3-0 at home to Sampdoria in March 2016 in what was definitely the worst game that I have ever been to in terms of atmosphere. At the time Hellas were struggling at the bottom of the table and were going down without much of a fight. They were 2-0 down within the first 12 minutes of the match and the atmosphere turned toxic with fans in the tier behind me ripping out and throwing chairs towards the pitch. Due to how far the stands are away from the pitch, the chairs never got near their target and one landed near me.
Stade Pierre-Mauroy - Lille - During my visit to Lille in March of this year I decided to go watch Lille OSC draw 0-0 against Marseille. The stadium is only 5 years old so it is very modern and provided a good experience with the ultras that I was seated near playing a big part in creating a good atmosphere.
Next year I am going to Brugge (Bruges) to watch a Club Brugge match at the Jan Breydel Stadion.

All 5th tier downwards leagues are in, so you should tick off places like Doncaster and Bradford City etc.

Fantastic total, well done Wakey, and you've just reminded me, I've been to Darlington too! Better go and update my stats!

Once Josh discovers the great beers and Bars in Bruges he'll never make it to the stadium
He might only have 8 on his list right now but I'm impressed with his Foriegn trips so far
Discovered a great magazine last week, it's called Football Weekends. It gives you plenty of info on how to get there, what the Towns and City's are like and of course the stadiums and matches they attended. It's worth a read

Well I am only 25 aries and I'm sure when I'm your age in 70 years time my list will be as big as BeefyBaggie's torso.
I remember a few years ago you posted about having been in Berlin and watched Hertha Berlin. Whilst you were there did you get chance to visit Union Berlin and their stadium? It is a wonderful club in the Zweite Bundesliga and has a great recent history with the fans renovating their stadium themselves. Here is video about them:

That's a great story, Josh, but no, I only went to see Hertha Berlin on that occasion. I haven't even heard of Union Berlin!
