In's/Out's
At least we have cleared out a fair bit of the deadwood that's been accumulated over the years.

Weve brought in solid attacking options like bowie and myko. And a new defence and keeper (jury still out on them) Mccowan has opted for the celtic bench instead of being able to play every week. I guess money talks.

Hoilett and Kwon should do a job for us too. We probably needed 1/2 more options but that will have to wait til january now. Over to SDG now to try and pull it all together.

The mystery defender is Jack Iredale, signed on a 2-year contract from Bolton Wanderers. To be honest the English League One is about our limit, so we can't really expect much more. I've a feeling that we will have a different defensive team in the next couple of months. Hopefully it won't feature Bushiri and Triantis together.

Also remember that one of our best defenders, Rob Jones, came from Grimsby in English League Two.

Maybe not the right thread to put this on, but as the "Review" was mentioned here way back in June, it'll do.

It's been rumoured before, and now Hibs have confirmed the signing of free agent Dwight Gayle on a one-year contract. He was a "proper" penalty-box striker and still should have enough about him to cause opposing defences a lot of bother.

It looks as if we're going for 4-3 victories instead of 1-0 ones.

Now that January is here, it looks as though Hibs have started a minor clear-out. Nohan Kenneh has joined Ross County on loan for the rest of the season, Josh O'Connor has joined Crusaders FC on a deal (complete with sell-on clause) and the much-injured Jake Doyle-Hayes has left "by mutual consent".

Alasanna Manneh joins us on an undisclosed fee from Odense. He's a left sided midfielder who I'm guessing will be back up for Newell.

Luke Amos and Harry McKirdy have both left the club - now of no fixed abode apparently.
