If you've heard a strange spluttering noise around the Hawthorns this month, never fear: that'll just be the sound of our season fizzling out. Hopes of a fifty-point season have somewhat faded, and even hanging on to eighth place is increasingly looking like a tough ask for the Baggies. To achieve either, at least one win from the next couple of games will probably be necessary, and the first is against in-form Leicester on Saturday while we're decimated by injuries.
For those who don't wish to know the result, look away now.
There are a lot of cries for Pulis to blood youngsters at this stage of the season with little to lose, and it's a pretty understandable position. The only persuasive argument against it I can see is that throwing them in at the deep end could cause a setback if they have a nightmare out there, but then, that's always going to be the case no matter how old they are. Really, we want something to cheer about after six long weeks since the Arsenal game when nothing's gone our way.
Although I'm not expecting big things on Saturday, hopefully the team can give us a bit of hope as we move into the season's closing weeks.

I reckon we will scrape a win and further more I reckon someone will score our goal of the month for April. It's a long shot but I think our best goal in April will be scored on Saturday.
Not to hard to be the best ....... could stumble on the line and hit an arse and roll over the chalk ..... with no competition it would still win.

I was behind the goal and right in line with that shot from Astle.

Only just realised I uploaded completely the wrong picture! No idea how I managed that; should have been pretty obvious that one wasn't against Leicester at home!

Foster
Dawson-McAuley-Evans-Brunt
Fletcher-Yacob-Livermore-Chadli
Morrison
Rondon
Subs
Myhill
Wilson
Nyom
Field
Leko
McLean
Robson-Kanu
In possession the above becomes a narrow 4-2-3-1 with Fletcher and Chadli moving inside to provide a central overload. To combat this Leicester will defend very narrow which will give Dawson and Brunt space outwide to provide our width and take up crossing positions. If we can't pass our way through Leicester then we can play round them with Dawson and Brunt supplying crosses to our 3 or 4 men in the box.

I'd like to see Leko as a replacement for Phillips and instead of one of Fletcher, Yacob or Livermore. As it stands with your team, Josh, there is a conspicuous lack of pace. However, Pulis will probably pick your team.
