An interesting interview in the Express & Dingle last week with Stuart White (our old head scout, got rid of when team TP took over).
In the article, White tells of how, despite him shouting how good Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was and we were offered him on loan with a £2 million purchase price at the end of the loan. Aubameyang is now valued at around £60 million after knocking in 72 in the last two seasons for Borussia Dortmund.
After the loss of Lakaku whom we could have bought from Chelsea for £18 million, before some smart arse at the club thought they could save a few quid by, in effect forcing Chelsea to open a bidding war for him. Everton now asking in excess of £100 million for him.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing looking back with a "Could have, Would have, Should have" prospective.
