Well this is another home match in which I'm hoping to observe a Hibs team that looks like it wants to win the Championship title in front of a healthy Hibs crowd v a side that is generally 'blowing hot n cold' but their striker, Stephen Dobbie, is still 'banging in goals for fun' and he will pose a threat. However, let them worry about us and the damage that we can do to them as previous league results have shown. The weather has 'turned' for the better and that should suit Hibs style of footie. Also most of our injured players are in the process of returning to 1st team action and it's an occasion when Lenny can have a last competitive look at the Hibs players before our Scottish Cup semi-final v the Dons - an opportune moment for the manager to encourage his 'troops' to impress him in this match before the upcoming semi-final.
Lastly, fingers crossed that there are no more injuries!

I can't see Hibs not taking the 3 points here. I also think we'll put 3 past them too.
The title might be won on Saturday as Morton will need the full 6 points from Tuesday's home game v St Mirren and also win at Raith on Saturday to keep it alive and If the Falkirk game V St Mirren on Saturday doesn't result in a home win then Saturday night is gonna be a good one.

There's still a lot at stake for the Hibs' players and, as you say, being in the Cup team is one of them. This is the business end of the season and until the Championship is won, they're all big games. QOTS have improved a fair bit in their last 2 games, but their goals against column should give Hibs a boost. Let's hope QOTS haven't learned their lesson from last season!

Interested in Neil Lennon saying his strikers are playing for their futures and wants them to step up to the mark with semi final places up for grabs.
Also he mentioned in a weekend interview he might consider different formations getting played maybe a wee bit mind games going on from our boss.

Aye, I listened to that interview and he's confirming the irritation of lotsa Hibs fans re certain strikers not 'doing the biz' although the goal opps are definitely there for these guys to score good goals.

This team needs gutted next season for the top flight,no way are they going to be able to produce what we need in the SPFL. Lennon knows this already and i'm sure the players know it too. I'm not buying this 'playing for their futures' stuff at all,but I guess its worth a try.
Lennon will already be planning ahead for new forwards for us next season. We need 5/6 new players in the summer IMO.

I've been thinking about strikers that could be on HFC radar for a couple of weeks now. Kenny millers been banded about but honestly think his wages would be against HFC policy but the guy I think could do a job for us is Louis Moult from Motherwell.
Thoughts anyone
