Hibs v Dumbarton, Sat 10 Dec, KO 3.00pm

It's time for Hibs to quickly 'bounce back' from an unlucky defeat at Tannadice and what an ideal fixture this one is v the Sons! They'll be on a real 'downer' after suffering a humiliating Scottish Cup defeat to a Junior League team called Bonnyrigg Rose and I'm expecting Hibs to 'rub salt in the wounds' by scoring lotsa goals in this match. As for Neil Lennon's attacking lineup? I'd opt for this one:-

Rocky
Gray McGregor Hanlon Stevo
McGeough Bartley Shinnie
Keatings
Holt Graham or Cummings

Again I'm hoping that we'll be discussing lotsa good attacking play and goals for the Hibs and no reference to any shit refereeing that has somehow disrupted this match in any way. C'mon the Hibs!

Hoping to see a positive reaction and a good performance from Hibs. May have been an unfortunate loss last week but a loss is a loss and so need to get back onto the winning track ASAP........especially against a side just beaten by our next Cup opponents.....Bonnyrigg.

Should be an easy 3 points ........but part of me still feels uneasy when we have these types of game......this is instilled after results over the past few seasons.   Doh

Has Keatings recovered?

'mon Hibs

Keatings has apparently recovered and is training back up to full fitness. I'm assuming that he could be a surprise inclusion in Lenny's starting line up but it could be 'touch n go' if he makes it.

We need to go on a lenghthy winning run now including the next Utd game at Easter road and strengthening in January along the way.

The fans are turning up now the board and Lennon have to start doing the bizzo. I don't think keatings will be ready for this so id stick with Boyle and holt up front.cummings has shown nothing to merit a start for some time now.

I'd personally go with Holt and Graham up front. No Boyle for me although he still has something to offer the team as an impact player. Cummings? Perhaps he should be started by Lennon v poor opposition and if he still performs poorly, haul him off asap and that's the 'acid test' finally 'done n dusted' - move on with players who are contributing positively.
Lastly Rocky will be missing due to a knee injury/impending operation to remedy the prob - reckoned to be absent for about a month!! Rolleyes

3-4-3 the day, very little for us in the middle of the park but job done 3pts in the bag. Cummings looks well off the pace but supplied a good ball for the goal. This is what Lennon wanted him doing mair in a wider sense.

Without mcginn, fyvie and mcgeough we look very lacking in balance and I think the manager tried to work round that the day.marciano out is a real worry.down the left we offer nothing with stevo.

We are going to have to sign some players in january

Yep! We're fast approaching a period of the season when our team tends to traditionally falter and I must say I'm a 'wee bit concerned' and the main reason for that is our hopes that Lenny could hold to a 'steady, regular team lineup' have been blown away by events outwith the club's control. The injuries are unwelcome and I don't see the same unlucky experience being endured up at Tannadice at the moment!!! Rolleyes The situation will be a test of the manager's mettle and I just hope he can negotiate his way around any potential pitfalls in the weeks ahead and lets also see the return of at least some of our injured players!!

Yeah, losing rocky for a month leaving us with 2 very inexperienced keepers is a real blow. I like marciano and i think he has done well since he came in.

Keep saying it but i still think a decent quality wide player who can whip in a cross and who possesses some pace would improve our team no-end.

Lennons clearly trying to protect mcgeouch for the time being,so i don't know why he doesn't give young martin more of a chance. Today would have been an ideal chance!
