Hibs v QOS, Sat 19 Nov, KO 3.00pm

Well this is another home match that Hibs should negotiate fairly comfortably but will it unfold as easily as suggested v a team that will no doubt 'park the bus' again and depend on their in form striker, Stephen Dobbie, to 'nick the match' after our strikers 'huff n puff' and spurn all the umpteen decent scoring opps that will be created in this game and their goalie has an inspired performance! We can only wait n see what happens but I hope Lennon has the temerity to show a wee bit respect re one of his old strikers at Bolton and simply DEAL WITH THIS THREAT AND PUSH ON TO ATTAIN A WIN V POORER OPPONENTS THAN US!!! Don't let the guy score against us again FFS!!

Lenny's line up? I'd opt for this one:-

Rocky
Gray McGregor Hanlon Stevo/Martin
McGinn Fyvie McGeouch
Shinnie
Holt Graham/Boyle

Oh and lets not forget the refereeing 'element' either and hope we are paying for a ref who has an incident free, non controversial performance and we can focus solely on the game itself - how refreshing that positive scenario would be!!!

Yes, win No9 required, but remember QOTS have lost their last 4 matches, scoring only 1 goal. That doesn't usually bode well for Hibs, so caution is required. Let's dominate the game and get out of the habit of getting draws where we should be recording comfortable wins.

I think this game is indeed a test of Hibs mettle to remain at the top of the Championship and do that by winning this particular match in front of another healthy turnout of Hibs fans who really don't wanna see another 'stumble' at home due to certain Hibs players not doing their jobs properly! We don't currently have a true prolific goal scorer, a 'sniffer', a pen box striker and that is a concern. The only 'saving grace' is the fact Dundee Utd have the same prob although their loan player, Andreu, from Birmingham City, is bagging a reasonable number of goals for the Tangerines. I've no doubt Hibs will win this league in a canter if Lenny resolves this issue preferably as quickly as poss.

These games from now over the new year period are going to be key i reckon.

On the BBC tonight lennon seemed to suggest he'd like to bring in a winger in january. But no other major changes planned. He thinks its proper pace and width we struggle a bit with.

No problem with cummings and him...relationship is good, just needs to work harder on parts of his game. Might even start on saturday!

Finally a cracking performance and result!!! 60% possession, 16 attempts, 12 on target and 4 GOALS!!! The last part is what has been missing, great three points, especially as Utd dropped 2 to Morton!

So, what was wrong with the ref this week?? Whistle
