A week on from the close of the transfer window, it's still difficult to know what to say. While man for man, we probably do have a slightly stronger side than last season, the squad has once again undergone nowhere near the kind of drastic improvement that was sorely needed, and in particular, the failure to sign a creative midfielder (yet again) means that a huge amount of pressure will be falling on Nacer Chadli to supply Rondon up front.

So it's all deja vu off the pitch, and unless Chadli is a miracle worker, it'll more than likely be deja vu on it, too. Under those circumstances a trip to the south coast this weekend may not seem too appealing, but we'll have to wait and see. One way or another, a lot of the mood at the next home match will be swayed by what happens on Saturday.

I quite fancy our chances at Bournemouth, although I've fancied our chances at Bournemouth before and come away wondering how we always seem to conspire to lose games there. But a win this weekend will not only placate the restive natives on the terraces, it will also give the team confidence. We shall see what Tone manages to conjure up with the squad.

Is Bournemouth Baggie still with us? (Haven't seen your posts for a few weeks).
BB was telling us 3-4 years ago to get Eddie Howe into the Manager's seat, when I'd never heard of him.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with

Pulis press conference ...........

John said he had got me my 5 players,

The numbers were right, but the players were not the ones I wanted,

Yes I have agreed to the signings but they were not my first choice ..........

Well Well Well ...................

Glad everything is out in the open at least with Pulis you know it will be the truth ,

However we now have the board and Chairman V Pulis ,

And a few of the players who now know they were not his first choice if at all the ever were ..........

Glad everything in the camp is rosy then Rolleyes

Fancy a comfortable 1-3 win today Chadli to score one and make two for Rondon.

Bournemouth to come in at halftime 1-0 up after Berahino starting due to Rondon's international duty. Chadli to score on 60 with Rondon then being brought on from the bench to score the next two, SB walks off holding head in hands.

Then a quick trip to the shop to get my lottery ticket

I would prefer Berahino not to be in the squad. Would rather his place be taken by an U21 with loyalty in his blood

That's usual, I think, after Rondon comes back from internationals.

Rondon needs to get on. We are doing nothing but defend. TP needs to change things, surely even he is ashamed when there is literally no visible attacking intention
