Rangers v Hibs - 29/09/14
#1
The Rangers have a Ready To Listen fans engagement strategy in place. Well, let's give them something else to complain to the board about. Hibs played quite well at Ibrox earlier in the season and gave them a few anxious moments with our competitiveness. Until the usual red card/penalty decision against the Gers opponents, that is.  Whistle It seems to be common knowledge that Mohsni is an accident waiting to happen, so we should play on that fact. Simonsen, if playing, can also be a bit of a jittery player, so pile the shots in on goal and wait for the scraps to come our way. On the other hand, Lewis Macleod has shone like a beacon for them this season and is their most consistent player. He was injured early on against Alloa and will be sorely missed if he's unfit for Monday's game. Rangers have a lot of experienced Premiership players in their side, but for some reason, they haven't really gelled as a team.

Of course, we have no weaknesses in defence, Doh and our attacking capabilities are there to get our defence out of trouble. The best aspect of the game up at Dingwall is that we started well, built up a lead and held it while still being an attacking threat ourselves. Malonga proved his worth with 2 headed goals against Ross County and is a perfect fit for the Championship. Strong, direct and not afraid to get stuck in. Liam Craig came back into the team and might find a role in lining up against his old mate Ian Black. Alan Stubbs played a 3-5-2 formation against County, but might revert to 4-5-1 for the visit to Ibrox. Hopefully we'll want to play our strongest team every week and with that in mind, I'd leave Craig on the bench, although I think Stubbs will play Craig and Robertson together again.

My team -
Oxley
Gray, Fontaine, Forster, Stevenson
Sinclair, Kennedy, McGeouch, Allan
Cummings, Malonga

The sweetest sound of the night? - the half-time boos from the Rangers' fans.

However, it is only half-time, so be on guard, Hibs. Cummings, Gray and Cummings. Rangers 0 Hibs 3.

Very surprising HT scoreline!! Maybe this league will become a three horse race after all?? Could this be the kick-start that Hibs season needed? As you say Ritchie, its only HT, but looking good for you guys so far!!

Is it still 1-3?

Could have knocked me down with a feather when I saw the half time score!

Rangers managed to pull one back early in the second half, but Hibs held on to take the sting out of any Rangers comeback. A memorable and fully deserved victory for Hibs. That's 3 wins out of 4 games now and hopefully we've turned the corner. To the teams above us - watch your backs!
