So this is it, we are hanging onto that 6th place spot and have 3 crucial games left!! Except a win in this game, or any of them for that matter will secure our spot in the playoffs, so taking one game at a time, this is now the most important game of the season!! A point here, while a decent result, will not actually make any difference to the playoff situation and will just add a ton of pressure onto us for the Cardiff game to follow, so we need to go out with the attitude of winning this one from minute one!!!

This will be the 129th meeting with them with a very even record at W42 D37 L49, our away record is not great though and over the last 10 games at their place we have W1 D4 L5, so its been a season of improving these records, lets see if we can improve that one!!

THE LAST MATCH

Squeaky bum time would best describe our last two home games!!! We should have won this one but either didn't get the luck or didn't have the composure to stick it in the net!! Discipline again came into it with a poor sending off for Wallace and another supposed dive from FF. We need to keep our cool, stick to the plan and not let wankers like Karl Robinson wind us up!!

THE ROAD AHEAD

Nowt to say here about this one. 6th place is our to either keep or throw away, its up to us and us alone now!! lets secure this and we can look at some stuff then.

OUR TEAM

Wallace is suspended for the remainder of this season so how do we replace him?? Is Hutch back, if so we could go three in midfield with him, Bannan and Lee or Lopez could still do that, or do we bring in Matias to provide some width in a 442 or as an extra forward?? Certainly Hunt is going to have to do better with his attacking and crossing to compensate. I hope we go three up front, might be inclined to start with Nuhiu and then introduce some pace against a tired back 4 after an hour by bringing Joao on then.

Sneaky barsteward PEI.

The Bastard is Black is PL referee Lee Mason from Bolton. This season he has issued 82 yellow cards & 3 red cards from 29 games. He has only done five games from the SBC this season although two of these featured Derby County, live TV matches against Birmingham & Brighton. Both were draws. Our record with this clown is:

Jan 14 - Macclesfield 1-1 OWLS - 2Y (FA Cup)
Jan 09 - OWLS 1-2 Fulham - 1Y (FA Cup)
Nov 09 - OWLS 1-0 Doncaster - No Cards
Oct 07 - Stoke 2-4 OWLS - 1Y (missed Shawcross red card tackle on Jeffers)
Apl 06 - OWLS 1-1 Reading - 2Y
Oct 05 - OWLS 3-2 Coventry - 3Y
Mar 05 - Huddersfield 1-0 OWLS - 5Y, 1R (Bruce sent off)
Dec 03 - OWLS 0-0 Chesterfield - 4Y

P8 W3 D3 L2

Tends not to give many cards these days and allows tackles from defenders.
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.
