Scottish FA Cup Semi-Final, Sunday, 17/04/2016 : Rangers v Celtic, KO 12:00 hours, SKY.
10/04/2016 : It is back to Hampden Park next week for step three in the treble attempt.
Mark Warburton will doubtless remind us that it is just another match, albeit a big one.

We'll need to be at our best to get a positive result from this one.

Apparently so. This one didn't bed in. How the fuq they expect another one to bed in sufficiently to stand up to two games in 24 hours is beyond me.
I managed a leisure and cultural centre for a few years and we were a lawn bowls centre of excellence. While football and bowls are two different sports the art of greenkeeping is much the same. If it takes months to bed in a bowls lawn - and yes the grass is much denser - how a professional organisation can hope to do the same with a football pitch in 5 days is beyond me.
Time to leave Hampden. Or pay Queens Park to play elsewhere. Although, in saying that, lots of clubs maintain decent pitches season in and out so why can't the sfa do it?

I think this might be the 3rd or 4th time since the commonwealth games they have relaid it. It's a farcical state of affairs,4 days for it to bed in before 2 games are played on it ?
Well you can imagine the state of it potentially for the weekends games.

Players will be sliding all over the place. Absolute joke of a decision.

Indeed, it seems a desperate move in such a short window. Why have they decided to do it now? Is it simply because Celtic whined about it last time?
Here's a nightmare scenario: They lay the new pitch in two days as planned. On Wednesday, the heavens open and it pishes down solid for three days. Hibs and Dundee Utd play on it on Saturday, in yet more pishing rain. Are they seriously saying that the pitch is definitely going to be better next Sunday than it was yesterday?
It seems a f*cking daft plan by people who really should know better.

Common sense would have been to relay it next monday for the final. Then again it's the Sfa.
