Back to proper football after the chore that is England football. The owls face a short hop to the deepest darkest village of Huddersfield, notorious for its love of egg chasing. The venue is the council owned rugby league ground named the Alfred John Galpharm McAlpine-Smith stadium. Let's hope they change the posts in time for our game anyway.


This will be the 53rd meeting between us with our record being absolute dogshite at W17 D12 L24.  The majority of them defeats were pre world war 2 though so wouldnt feel too downbeat cos there only PEI who can remember them. Lost once I'm out last 5 against them but that was under demolition Dave so again, wouldn't be too worried.

I'm looking forward to this weekends fixture, this will be a test to how much we've improved since Wagner took over. You are doing well this season but given you've spent a fair few bob on transfers and wages I'd expect you to be up and around there although going back 2/3 fixtures I was thinking you may bottle it for the play offs but you're hanging in there.

It'll be a tight game with the odd goal in 3 deciding the winner but right now I'm not sure who to. One thing is for certain if Town are on their game then you'll have a battle on you're hands. Pressing high up the pitch to win the ball back and pressure the defenders. We've decent attacking options in Wells, Bunn,Scannell,Paterson and Lolley so always a threat even if it is to the stand behind the goal more the goalposts at times. Where we do seem to lack quality is defence, Lynch is usually ok and Hudson can either be good or awful, I do worry that Forestieri will be a bit too tricky for them and Hooper will be a handful as well

This ive been thinking for a few weeks now could mirror what happened the season we went up in the pub league its come around about exactly the same time with i think just about the same fixtures remaining ? if we can win here i think it could give us the confidence to realy try and sneak second spot ? maybe im deluded but Football has a strange way of going round in circles   

Anyway back to the game and ive been spying on THEM for the last few weeks aswell and watching there highlights ! and they play well   THEY will be a force next season if they sign some decent strikers and not use that useless headless chicken THEY call naki wells   from what i saw although very fast ( jj helan )he cant hit a barn door   but still we will nead to shackle the little feffer on saturday. also THEY have been playing OUR football and realy should have beaten Ipswich 5-1 but we all know how lucky feffing Ipswich have been this season   

So beware THEY play football now   and if CC thinks his plan of playing like c-unts in a 4-4-2 for 45 minutes we might find the game has passed us by   we will have to start in our best formation for this one and hope Joao livens up the second half   its a strange game and could go any which way ?? there could be 10 goals or 0 goals ? we could hammer THEM or THEY could hammer us    Or if form goes to plan our qaulity attack and midfield will overcome what is left of the shitefootball players that powell and worse managers than him brought to THERE team before THERE obviously very good new manager !
