So today could be The Day if results go our way, but maybe it's not preferable in some ways.
There's a lot to be said for getting the league wrapped up as soon as possible, but for most of our fans I've spoken to the ideal would be that both we and Hibs win this weekend and we seal the title midweek at Ibrox. We could certainly be set up nicely for what I'm calling a Golden Triangle: 3 big matches to win in a row, each setting an important milestone - a win against Dumbarton to claim the Championship title and seal promotion; a win against Peterhead in the Challenge Cup final to win our first cup of any sort in 5 years; a first win against celtic since 2012 setting us up for our first major domestic final in 5 years and a chance to qualify for Europe.
I'm not taking any of that for granted mind you, especially the celtic game which they still have to be big favourites to win. But in an ideal world that's how it'd play out for me.
After that we've got a busy schedule for the rest of the month but hopefully those matches will be irrelevant. Not sure how long our loan players are due to be at other clubs, but it'd be good to bring at least some of them back in to the fold to get some time in our last few league games.

I'm in the win it at Ibrox on tuesday, then on to cup matters afterwards. Watching the Villa game at the moment strange atmosphere to the match, it's almost pre season like. It's a shame to see the apathy in the side and fans alike, better times ahead for sure.

HT : 2-2 ... Rangers concede yet another 'worldie', then go into the lead, but are pegged back.
All to play for in the second half. Hibs are level in their match at HT too, so it is all square atm.
Talking about Aston Villa, the only difference between AVFC and today's opponents Chelsea is the owner.
Abramovich invested in Chelsea and has maintained it, whereas Lerner gave up on AVFC back in 2010 !

Next season will be tough but if the right personel is brought in then i see no reason why you can't bounce back.
Great goal!
Poxy Hibs can't rely on them for anything.

Much as I'd like to win it Tuesday night...fuq hibs. Their dreadful league form brings me an exquisite pleasure.
Another couple of years in the lower leagues should finish them off.
