HT 1-1 : GM went ahead in their first attack with a flukey ricochet, Miller equalised 2 minutes before HT with a good header from a corner delivered by Tavernier.

SPFL2 (Championship), Friday 11/03/2016 : Rangers 3-1 Greenock Morton

That was a good game in the end, despite Rangers falling behind to a breakaway goal then having to find a way through GM's 8 man defence for most of the first half. Kenny Miller equalised 2 minutes before HT with an excellent header from a corner by Tavernier, then scored again 3 minutes after HT to give Rangers the lead. After that the game opened up and Lee Wallace scored Rangers' third with a clinical shot. Kenny Miller was denied a hat-trick as his third goal was ruled offside.
The GAP between Rangers and Falkirk is now 15 points and Hibernian are now 17 points behind, but with a game in hand.

Attendance : 45,072 (RTV)
