To put it bluntly, that was shite, what I noticed is that when our 'attacking' players had the ball, there was no outlet, no 2/3 players working together, they were to rigid and scared to be out of position.. And that comes from the manager.. Honestly, I've not seen a team set up so bad since..... Erm erm... Nope, I've not seen a team set up not to attack at home like that against the worst team in the the league ever!!!! Pulis out now!!!!!

We need to improve, I cannot see any improvement from last season. To give a shit villa team 60% possession and for us to have zero shots on target at home is wank.
The team looked jaded and not at the races from the first whistle.

As you know Heavy, I've always been a Pulis critic going back to his Sjoke days, but after the stirring performances against Newcastle, Stoke and Chelsea, I thought we had turned the corner and in a moment of weakness, gave him the benefit of doubt.
The hope of a new dawn, a new Pulis, a new Albion faded with the disgraceful performances against Bristol City who languish at the bottom of the Championship, a thrashing by Southampton in poor form, and now, being totally outplayed by Aston Villa, one of the worst teams in Premiership history.
Words fail me and I wonder why I bother wasting time and money going to game after game. Pulis is wrong for our club and the sooner Peace realises and accepts it with a P45 for TP, the better and safer it will be for our future.
Cheers Mucka

It's very hard to disagree with all that's been said in this thread and the match one, even from a normally pro Pulis angle.
Lining up to concede possession against the Chelsea's and Man City's of this world is MAYBE understandable but yesterday - that was disgraceful.
Maybe the only mitigating factor (clutching at straws here) is that we've just had 5 games in 14 days; 4 in the last 10, 3 of which have been away.
Tiredness of thought and body?
The trouble is TP has hardly managed THAT well either - picking almost the same starting 11s is going to make that even worse, obviously.
We could mention injuries, but we're no worse off than any other club.
Yeh, the buck has to stop at TP for the worst showing I can remember, even worse than the Leicester fiasco last year. I'm still not saying I want him out, I just want him to fekin LEARN!

Having thought about it overnight,I think we have got it wrong. Pulis is a tactical genius who realises that 15 more 0-0s will see us comfortably safe. Peace should release some cash to enable us to buy a couple of centre halfs/defensive midfielders just to make sure. Meanwhile I'm looking forward to Spring when I can watch the grass grpwing again.

Without Pulis and his defensive strategy we`d be bottom of the league as we simply havnt got the players to score enough goals,
Pulis wanted Demba Ba and Matt Phillips but yet again Jeremy tight wod refused to pay the asking price and we end up with
James fackin McClean, Lambert, and Rondon.
