Think you're referring to the Izzy Brown affair DD ? 
Difference is that Isiah hadn't signed a pro contract and thus we only got a couple of grand compensation whereby Tyler on his pro contract would command a £50m fee !  Wink

Another observation, hasn't Izzy's career taken off big time since he joined Chelsea?  Laugh

Yeah but look at Izzy's car ........ wasn't that his come back before last season's Hawthorne encounter. Youngsters aren't in it for the football just the fame and the dosh. Maybe a bit harsh on most but that is the way football is heading.

I suppose 90% of us are motivated by money but these youngsters must also love playing the game. They must get frustrated just sitting on the bench week in week out.

So why sign for clubs that have 30 odd players out on loan and a first team full of internationals that you will struggle to dislodge. Why not sign for a team pushing the top four or top ten with a chance of playing or winning a cup or something. Money is king.
