I think Sheridan expected a player with loads of natural ability. I don't think Jamie had that. He worked at his game to improve it. He needed to be fit to show what he could do, really fit ....... and he always would have made some mistakes. But he was proving he'd made himself Championship level when injury struck ....... and I hear he was beginning to show he could get back to at least our level when Sheridan struck.
