In light of what happened last week my thread will be respectful.

When things like these attacks happen sport falls to the bottom of the pile of priorities. In this instance however (especially after the attacks at the Stade de France) perhaps football can be used as a united front against the extremism and show them we wont just bow down to their extremist views.

This pointless game now has a lot going for it but all nothing to do with Football. Irrespective of how the game goes or the score I hope the crowd shows the rest of the World that different nationalities and cultures can actually integrate sucessfully.

As ever 'merican news is going totally OTT on this and most of them don't even realise certain parts of their population were supporting the IRA in doing similar things in the UK in the 70's and 80's.
