Everyone loves an underdog and everyone loves an FA Cup upset.

Lets start with Hereford United vs Newcastle United 3rd round 1972

Your lot almost had one of the competition's best upsets in 1997, matt. If it hadn't been for the blind ref.

I know, I didn't support them back then as I was only 4.

I've always loved the FA Cup, IMO its the best trophy in English football.

there are too many FA Cup upsets for West Brom fans for this thread. Every year is an FA Cup upset and I expect with the start of the season we have had that this will be the same

My favourite was in the early 70s when the mighty Don Revie's "champions of Europe" lost at 4th division Colchester. Laugh

We've been the toppled giants ourselves a lot more often. Woking is commonly held as the lowest point in the club's history, and Halifax wasn't much better. Last time we actually beat a Premier League team in the competition was 2002, which tells you a lot about Albion's cup fortunes in recent times.
