If Doyle does go anywhere I cant see it being either of these. Roy Keane has been singing his praises, if Villa gave us £1 mil for Bowery then we should be able to double that for the top scorer in all leagues.

It was interesting that after the Barnsley game Mr Cook was suggesting we need a striker. If we've got The Ginger Costa all we need is some of the rest of our players to chip in ......... but we keep loaning out the likely ones, like Gnanduillet and Banks, suggesting we can't afford to maintain a full squad and that the manager doesn't quite have the faith to rotate his players.

We really need someone bigger than Millwall or Bristol City to be interested in Doyle to get full value for him. The label top goalscorer in the country must be worth a couple of million in today's inflated prices ..... specially if you look what relegation can cost a club like Sunderland or Hull who can't score ........ but they do also know that for that kind of money we might throw in the Chairman's house.

He has definitely bulked up since last season and is generally a better player but I could see the potential when others couldnt (Easy to say now ,I know),I'm sure I've never critcised him on here .His goalscoring record in the second half of last season was decent .
I'm sure the coaching staff will take deserved credit for his improvement and yes it is remarkable how he has been catapulted into the limelight .I hope he continues and we get zillions for him .

I hope we don't sell Doyle because he's a fantastic centre forward and the type of player to take us up to the Championship. He also deserves a call up by Ireland which has got to happen sooner or later.

You are such a great optimist Matt .........

I think the fact that he always puts in a shift, will attract managers searching for goals. You do get something when he doesn't score, which you can't always say for strikers.
