I've never been a huge fan of King but the apoplectic reactions from some quarters of the Scottish media and fans of certain other teams has been pretty hilarious.
Someone even caught some footage of Jim Spence when he heard the news: ![]()

Its times like this that I wished New606 still existed!!! The reaction, rightly or wrongly, on there would have made excellent reading for days to come!!
As you say, now its time for him to put his money where his mouth has been!! Stability is what is needed at Ibrox, irrespective of what division you end up in and the focus needs to be on the field and away from the boardroom. Personally I think King is dodgy but he is a Rangers man so hopefully the days of decisions being made for purely personal gain rather than the best interests of the club are hopefully behind you!!

It you want the Timmy reaction just have a look on Kerrydale st.
He's got a transfer window to show his intent - regardless of how the play offs go.

I think the clamour for money to be shown in certain quarters is pretty previous. Lets see where we are before opening any wallets!
It is a beauty to behold is Kerrydale st. Tin foil is the currency there yes siree. For people who apparently don't give a flying fig about us, they sure take up a lot of column inches great stuff!

Poor Jim Spence, hatred frothing at the mooth, gets a shoeing live on air on Radio Scotland. Tom English's disappointment is palpable, and his demands for 'transparency' over the decision smacks of the very same victim-hood mentality displayed by rabid Celtic fans for decades now. These people - who let's not forget have high-profile positions in the media - have absolutely no shame when it comes to objective neutrality.
Schadenfreude is indeed a wonderful thing. http://bbc.in/1IOW4sB

Absolutely hilarious! And the fact they kept peddling we need more transparency, then admitting that most of it is confidential made their pain even more evident!
What smacks of bitterness was the old aye but we would have been hounded routine! |
