Who do we want down then?

Up until a couple of minutes ago when they equalised, Newcastle had dropped into the bottom 3 in the table " as it stands".
Now I would love it, love it, if we had them coming here for a league match next season. And what a great place to go for an away game.
QPR and Burnley are likely to be relegated today, leaving the last position between Newcastle, Hull, Sunderland and Villa.

So my question to you is, who do you want to come down?

judging by my alias, it's safe to say I probably wouldn't be able to get to newcastle if they went down although I have been to both blackpool and hartlepool's grounds. QPR and Burnley look dead and I've already gone to the former, would probably go to burnley once just to tick it off the list. I would probably like Hull. Easiest game to get to, I'm not considering villa to be in danger, they'll be comfortably safe thanks to big tim. Plus we all still hate steve bruce don't we?

I would personally like Newcastle to go down just to cause them to reorganise and get rid of ashley and the bottlers in that squad. the fans deserve so much better. Geordies are the die-hard's die-hards.

Either Newcastle or Sunderland will do but, I suspect, its probably gonna be Hull accompanying Burnley and QPR.

I agree with Art.....would love it to be Sunderland or Newcastle.
Hull now need to win one of their 2 remaining games....v Spurs and Man U. They could draw both and send Newcastle down on goal difference but I don't see it.
So now we have a Preston v Swindon League 1 final. I would love it to be Preston that come up....with all the old Town connections there and it's a place I can get to easily on the train.

And then there were three. Villa and Leicester are safe now, so it's Sunderland, Newcastle or Hull.
Looks like Hull. They have Man Utd at home next week and Bruce has never beaten them as a manager in 17 attempts. But, of course, there's always a first.
I'd still love it to be Newcastle though, purely for the big match day. And the fact that they're a bunch of pussies who we would hammer. Big Grin

Look at this way.

Hull is nearest and it's always good to see old fat head struggling.

Newcastle are a massive club and that would be our biggest fixture next season, plus it's easy to get to on the train.

Sunderland another big club and another massive draw regarding gate money and match day sponsorships.

I'm happy to play against any of them (WYP probably aren't) although my preference would be the Toon

I get the feeling if it is Hull, then old fat head might not be in the job at the start of the season.
It would take a minor miracle for Sunderland to go down...so for me it's Hull or Newcastle.
It kind of all depends on what happens Wed. Arsenal play Sunderland....so a draw there would almost guarantee Arsenal coming 3rd, and would guarantee Sunderlands future.
