SPFL2 (Championship) Sunday, 12/04/2015 : Rangers v Raith Rovers, KO 15:00 hours.
We go again, hopefully proving that the defeat at QOS was 'just a blip'.

Larry, I think the opposite applies even more in that if you can win this game it may prove that the initial form shown under McCall was not the actual blip you refer to!!!! I think it was Cooper who said the QoS result was far too reminiscent of the bulk of this season!!

I'd like to think we'll win it reasonably comfortably, but we're still hopeless at the back. 3-3 seems as likely to me.

Think the back four will be unchanged, McCulloch is still suspended and Smith, Faire and Foster are all still out. Bell in for Robinson if fully fit.
Raith Rovers don't appear to have a pacey attack, so there's a chance to play that high defensive line I keep banging on about. Of course Law and Murdoch will have to be aware of midfield runners.
Mark my words though, if we play a high defence we'll win this game. If we don't then we'll struggle.
In two minds about Templeton or Shiels. Would be good to have a confident Templeton running at defenders as nothing scares them more, and the space that can be created is priceless. However, all that is tempered by the consistency issue. Maybe start with Temps then reassess at half time?
Got a feeling Clark might drop out for Boyd or Shiels, he's been looking knackered recently. A wee rest might do the world of good.

Forgot about Walsh being available again - maybe a half time replacement for Templeton? A home crowd might just give the encouragement and confidence required for a young lad.
And yes, welcome to the board Alan63. Good to have fresh input and opinion!

Enjoy the game, DD!
RANGERS: Bell; Crawford, McGregor, Zaliukas, Wallace; Vuckic, Murdoch, Shiels, Law; Clark, Miller
SUBS: Robinson, Mohsni, Black, Boyd, Walsh, Sinnamon, Hardie
Seems it'll be Crawford at right back. Cannot understand that when a dedicated RB is sitting on the bench. Maybe Law will play there instead? Either way, it's a strange choice.
No Templeton at all, onus now on Shiels and Vuckic to create.
