Prediction League Week 7 Results
#1
Group A

Twerton 12
Zinman 10
A.A.A. 7
Minizin 6
BaggieOne 3
Stairs 1
B.B.B. 1
BaggieVicar 0

Worst week of the season in Group A with just 40 points in total. It would have been just 20 points had Arsenal not scored that late, late winner at Newcastle. Multiple season records were broken this week, most of which were the bad or low ones but there was a couple of good ones as well. Every Bonus Ball prediction was incorrect, something which really hurt one player!!

Twerton leads the way with 12 points, his highest score and position since week 2. He scored on 6 games including his first positive points won on the Gamball with a CR. Zinman scored his highest score of the season to finish second on 10 points. Like Twerton he scored his first points on the Gamball but he managed to get it spot on. He added another CS and with him being able to play 2 Bonus Balls had a chance of a very good score, unfortunately for him he managed to get both of them wrong robbing him of 12 extra points!!

AAA had his best score for 4 weeks with 7 points and his highest weekly position of the season in 3rd place. Minizin ended on 6 points, his lowest score of the season so far despite a CR on the Gamball. League leader BaggieOne had his 2nd worst score this season with just 3 points, that Gunners win cost him 6 points!!

The bottom 3 had a week to forget - Stairs and BBB on 1 point and BaggieVicar ending of a big fat zero!! For him and Stairs this was their lowest scores of the season so far, BBB had that honor last week.

96 BaggieOne
75 Minizin
72 Stairs
61 Twerton
52 BaggieVicar
46 A.A.A.
44 B.B.B.
30 Zinman

Every player bar the leader and the wooden spoon incumbent changed paces this week!! BaggieOne was over 100 points at one point but fell back to 96, giving him a 21 point lead over the new 2nd spot owner, Minizin. Stairs drops to 3rd place, his lowest position so far this season. Twerton rose one place, as did BaggieVicar and AAA which means BBB drops 3 places to 2nd bottom. Zinman will need a few more weeks like this one to catch up but its a start and a move in the right direction for him.

Cheers
SCO

Group B

Lady Jane 11
Snooty 9
Amelia 8
Derby 8
SCO 6
Themaclad 4
Salop 2
4eva 1

A below average week for Group B with just 2 correct scores and 2 positive Gamballs. It could have been a lot worse with the final match of the weekend providing the highest return thanks to Arsenal's very late comeback.

Lady Jane tops the table for the first time this season, matching her score from last week as the only player to reach double figures. Her total included one of the 2 correct scores and also a positive bonus. Snooty was just a correct score behind in 2nd place. Derby and Amelia share 3rd with 8 points, Amelia with a correct gamball and the other correct score while Derby got just 3 correct results but did score with his 2 scoreballs having carried one over from last week.

SCO and Themaclad both scored on 4 games without a correct score. SCO's extra points came from the 2nd correct gamball result though for the second week running he played his scoreball on a scoreless game. Salop scored on one game less and also had a blank on his balls to collect just 2 points from the weekend - 1 more than 4eva who was heading for a negative score until that late Arsenal winner!

63 Themaclad
62 SCO
53 4eva
49 Snooty
48 Lady Jane
41 Derby
32 Salop
25 Amelia

No positional changes though Themaclad's lead is cut to just 1 point. A special mention for SCO as the only player yet to record a positive scoreball, actually managing a cumulative minus 2 points from this ball!

Just a quick note that next week's scores may be delayed as I'm travelling and will probably be busier than when I'm at work.

I'm impressed that scoring 0 points moves me up a place! Must try that more often.

Yes, I got that one wrong, you did in fact drop one place with Twerton overtaking you. Sorry for this error!!
