LAST MATCH
We managed to get our first point at Hillsborough as we shared the spoils with QPR. We played OK in the first half and we took the lead when Bannan's free kick was headed in at the back post by Iorfa, our first league goal at Hillsborough this season. We had a few other chances but we went in 1 up. QPR made 3 changes at the half and were rewarded when Palmer handled in the box, harsh but the rules and Madsen fired in the spot kick. Both sides had chances to win the game the game but the game ended in a draw, probably a fair result overall.

THE MATCH
Next up and back on the road as we travel down to the Midlands to take on Birmingham. The Brummies had started the season well but have lost 3 of there last 4 games and currently lie in 11th place in the table. It will be interesting to see if they can mount a playoff challenge come the end of the season, but with a board who seem willing to splash the cash (Jay Stansfield for £10m in League One) they could be thereabouts when playoff time arrives. They are managed by Chris Davies who took over in June 2024 and took the Brummies to promotion in his first season, as Birmingham amassed 111 points, the most in the world. There leading scorer so far this season is Stansfield with 2 goals.
