LAST MATCH

Well, after nearly 4 months, we finally won a home game as we came from behind to beat Boro. It was Boro that struck first, when Hackney fed Azaz who fired past Charles. Boro were then awarded a penalty, which was harsh to say the least, but justice was served as Charles made a double save. Both teams had chances but the score-line stayed the same Onto the 2nd half and Windass had a shot saved before steering in the equaliser from close range. We should have score when Otegbayo missed with a close range header but we did get the winner when Musaba tapped in from close range from Pato's cross. Boro nearly got a point when Charles saved well and for the rebound to be crashed against the bar.

THE MATCH

Next up and our last home game of the season sees us entertain Portsmouth. Pompey are now safe from relegation following the results over the Easter weekend and will be looking to finish the season well, just like ourselves. It has been Portsmouth home form that has kept them up, we are 1 of 5 teams who have won there this season, as there away form has seen them win just 3 of there 22 away games. They are managed by John Mousinho, who has been in charge for just over 2 years and has a 45% win ratio. There leading score is Colby Bishop with 11 goals and 3 assists.

Nothing great will ever be achieved without great men, and men are great only if they are determined to be so. For glory gives herself only to those who have always dreamed of her.
