I'm far too busy at the moment to post 3 separate threads for the coming week, so here's a triumvirate of triple-headers over the next 8 days.
Hibs' fans have been kept in the dark about any much-needed changes and we might see if the Hibs' team can play better in the dark than in daylight. Starting with the visit to Dens Park, Dundee on Saturday at 5.45pm, they are reaching the stage where they MUST improve and win some points in their quest to avoid languishing at the foot of the table for months to come. The problem will be when the floodlights are switched on because Hibs don't appear to like playing under the lights.
On Tuesday they then host high-flying Aberdeen at an even later time of 7.45pm. Even with an in-form Hibs' team, I fear Aberdeen would be too strong for us, so imagine my trepidation about the chances of the current squad.
Next Saturday we go to Fir Park, Motherwell at the normal time of 3pm. I can only hope that by the time we get there, SDG will have realised that we can't continue with the same underperforming players and give more of the second string a chance to do better.
The only positive thing about these games is that Kuharevich will be available (assuming he stays on the park that is) and so will Miller (but not as full-back please, maybe an attacking midfielder role would be better). I doubt if Bowie will be fit enough for any of these games and we definitely need him back as strong as before to have any chance.

We are just embarrassing, that about all to say on Hibs at the moment, drifting towards relegation.

SDG -
"I'm standing here angry that we have lost the game.
A moment of madness cost us the game.
It is a lot of individual errors.
It is not good enough.
We are losing too many goals from avoidable situations from our point of view."
That's what we've all been saying for months now. It's not up to the fans to sort it. It's up to SDG firstly, then his successor afterwards.
I'll watch Sportscene through my fingers from behind the sofa, but I'm sure I'll have seen this film before as well.

I shouldn't need to say any more than before, but Obita's red card came from a totally stupid tackle. It was a poor touch, but giving the ball away in the opposition half crowded with players wasn't stupid. The tackle was and it's not the first time that's happened this season. My opinion about Bushiri is well documented, especially with Triantis on the field, not that he knew much about his own goal.
As for Bursik, what does he have to do to get SDG to drop him? Even an elephant would have a better touch. We've had some poor keepers in the past and we seem to be trying to find more of them.
I'm beginning to despair.

Briefly, I'm not talking about this match at all - deja vu!!! What I wanna say to any Hibs fan reading this particular OP - PROTEST ON TUESDAY NIGHT AFTER THE AFC MATCH! BE THERE AND MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!! IMO we are being "taken for a ride" by a bunch of idiots who are not running our football club properly at all with the same of the same football related problems accumulating from the summer onwards and lots of fans issuing so many previous well informed warnings re the whole way this football team has been degraded beyond belief. No proper action, no effective leadership on this crisis - TIME TO PROTEST AND FORCE THE ISSUE!! Plus stop buying match tickets if this board of incompetents keep ignoring this crisis.

I actually felt sorry for the manager, he was genuinely upset afterwards going to the fans and looked like he knows its over now. He's way,way out his depth but he was always going to get a shot at it. He's also being done over time and time again by idiotic decisions from his players and Obita's today was another in a long line - a stonewall red and totally unnecessary. We had actually made a good start to the game ffs.
The biggest problem is the teams mentality, they are on the main soft as shite and a lot of them don't look like they want to play for the jersey.
I reckon we will see Malky taking over team affairs before too long.

It's great to see we've got a bit of fight and belief in us after all. In an end-to-end game, Hibs and Aberdeen fought out a 3-3 draw with 3 goals in added time at the end. We were denied a first-half penalty, struck the post and the crossbar and had loads of chances. Thanks to some great blocks from both teams, we were denied even more goals in this game - great for the neutrals, but torture for the committed.
BUT we're still guilty of the usual faults - we've yet another goalkeeper who seems bent on being the worst in the club, a flapper who will find himself under constant pressure from savvy teams who will hammer crosses in to the 6 to 12 yards area in our box, trying to tempt him out. Also Miller is still a liability in defence - I don't think he is savvy enough to cope with a sprightly attacking thrust.
Having said that, if we can keep up this standard, we can look forward to the rest of the season with a little bit of hope, whether or not SDG is still at the helm.

At last some fight shown on the park and a lot of decent play too, the closing phase of that game was mental. Some brilliant finishes.
From last night though we have 2 poor keepers now, be as well giving young Boruc a shot at this rate. Miller worked hard but his positional sense is awful. Campbell is just a poor player. On the other hand Youan and Newell finally showed their ability and Cadden well too even if he isn't the quickest at times.
A win at motherwell might just buy the manager some time.
