LAST MATCH
Our 4 game winning run came to an end as we went down to Leeds. We had the first real chance when Gassama's close range shot was somehow deflected wide. We were keeping Leeds at arms length but did have a few attempts with Beadle making a decent save. Just as we thought we would make it to HT, Leeds took the lead, Firpo's cross finding Bamford who finished from close range. Onto the 2nd half and Leeds stepped it up and made it 0-2 when Rutter sent Gnonto through to finish with ease. Leeds came close to adding to there lead but the score stayed the same all the way to the final whistle.

Back on the road and a trip to Portman Road to take on Ipswich. Of the 3 promoted sides Ipswich are easily doing the best, currently sitting in the 3rd place just 1 point behind Leeds in the automatic places. It is going to be a great race to see who finishes in the top two. Ipswich are managed by Kieran McKenna who took over in 2021 and last season saw them promoted to the Championship alongside ourselves and Plymouth. There leading scorer is Connor Chaplin with 12 goals and 7 assists, closely followed by Nathen Broadhead with 11.
