Hi - just wanted to say sorry about the downtime. A server disc problem explains the period of slow performance before the crash.

Mark has bust a gut to get us back up, but sadly it takes time.

We have been very stable for a very long time and so let's hope this is the last incident for a very long time.

Thanks for the work done on this. I've not been able to get on over the last 3 or 4 days, so didn't even know the problem was at your end (oo'er missus). At best the access to the website kept timing out and at worst showed it was "not secure".

I'll be back later but won't log out just in case.

Just to let you know I still have occasional problems with being timed out, but it's probably my security provider more than anything else. EG - it's taken me 2 attempts to log on today. Good job I have plenty of patience.

It's still slow to load. At least Google isn't giving an "Insecure Website" warning every time you load a new page or comment at the moment.

It's done - new server. Data migrated ands software upgraded and it looks like its purring again.

Many thanks to Mark putting the shift in to get this resolved - lets hope that's the end of it and we can go on a posting frenzy!
