In the midst of an ever-escalating injury crisis, four points from our back-to-back home games was pretty much what the doctor ordered, and so our next road trip comes on Monday evening with a visit to The Arena Formerly Known As Ricoh to face Coventry, whose unlikely charge to the playoff final in May has given way to an apparent season of struggle after the loss of top scorer Viktor Gyokeres to Sporting Lisbon in the summer. Six points above the drop zone and winless in three, the Sky Blues are no less injury-stricken than we are, with Liam Kelly, Jamie Allen and Kasey Palmer all ruled out of this one and Callum O'Hare also unlikely to start. Haji Wright and Matt Godden are therefore the goal-threat, with centre-half Kyle McFadzean chipping in from set-pieces.

The Birmingham match aside, Corberan has done tremendously well over the last month in shoring up the Albion defence, and a clean sheet tomorrow would be a springboard to victory. Coventry's win in the corresponding fixture last Christmas was a reminder that not every encounter between the sides can end in an Albion romp, so a point would be welcome here; still, a win would be a very achievable bonus if we can manage it.

Clean sheet and back in playoff place despite all those injuries. CC is a magician.

Yokuslu ran the show, the defence stayed strong under pressure (even if we arguably got away with a couple of close shaves), Grady and BTA took their chances superbly when they came. The latter would certainly have been overturned if VAR existed in this division, but that's precisely why VAR belongs in the bin; in real time it looked a well-timed run. And a blast of "we all go down together" at the end. Textbook awayday!

Carlos plan is working
Keep it tight 1st half and press 2nd half.
Another clean sheet.
Take the credit CC while it presents itself.

What I really hate is unnecessary bookings.

Chalobah had a 30 seconds to think about it and then booted the ball down the line and was booked. Philips deep into Coventry end with just a few mins to go plus being 2-0 up knock the ball out of the Coventry player preparing to take the throw and also got booked.

They both at some stage will not be able to play in a match and it could be that 3pt go missing.

I just don't get it would fine them big time for gross stupidity and disrespect to fellow players, fans and club.
