Oldham Athletic have signed Barnsley striker James Norwood for an undisclosed fee on a two-year deal.
The 32-year-old scored 11 goals in 42 League One appearances for the Tykes last season.
He has now dropped two divisions to a level he won promotion from before during his time with Tranmere.
Norwood is the Latics' second signing of the day after they added former Carlisle midfielder Brennan Dickenson on a one-year deal

Oldham Athletic interim boss Steve Thompson and assistant Neil Redfearn have left the club with the Latics set to appoint a new manager.
The pair took charge of the National League side following David Unsworth's sacking in September.
Since then, they have overseen three wins and three draws after Unsworth had won just once in nine games.
Academy manager Paul Murray will take charge for Saturday's FA Cup tie against Altrincham.
"We would like to place on record our thanks to Steve and Neil for their work in taking charge of the first team during recent weeks," a Latics statement said.
"An announcement in relation to the managerial position will be made in due course."

Oldham Athletic have signed former Hull City, Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland midfielder Corry Evans on a deal until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old former Northern Ireland international was a free agent after his short-term deal with Bradford City came to an end earlier this month.
Evans could make his debut for the Latics, who are fifth in the National League but have three games in hand on table-toppers Forest Green, in Saturday's home game against Aldershot.
"We're in a good position in the league so I'm coming in at a good time, the quality in the squad is there to see, so this is an exciting project," he told the club website.
