Is it a case of him trying to do a good job for The Albion and Lai preventing it. Is he sick and tired of having to fight everyday against a dictator of an owner who has his own interests at heart. He has 25 years experience in football and if you are being denied the opportunity to do your best there comes a point when you say enough is enough, I want out!

Or is it as you say, we are hold below the waterline and there are not enough lifeboats.

Only time will tell..... Come on you baggies.

Considering the very positive relationship that existed between Gourlay and Corberan, I can’t help thinking the timing of this is absolutely dreadful for our chances of keeping our manager

I agree with baggiesteve, this is just gonna get worse, no one at the helm, no one to make any financial decisions, therefore no signings to be made, even free ones.

If Leeds come a knocking and if I was in CCs shoes, I think I know who I would choose.

In my humble opinion, my thoughts are that it can only get worse, before it starts to get any better. Hold on to your cohuna’s folks.

I hope I am wrong!

There is a £2million release clause in Corberan’s contract; I’ll be astonished if Leeds don’t activate it. If they do, I’m sure CC will leave

Who the hell put such a low release clause in his contract, I guess we were not in a position to insist on anymore, we needed him to stay.
If he goes we will be back to has been managers past their best, instead of Back to the Future it will be back to Jurasic Park.
I hate modern football where there is no loyalty and it is all about money. More to the point it is all rigged so a few clubs across the whole of Europe get richer and richer. A reflection on modern society, the rich make and break the rules to gain obscene wealth, the poor are not allowed to progress or compete, they have to suck it up and be thankful for the crumbs thrown down to them.

RG tendered his resignation months ago and has been left in his position to sensibly keep the boat steady. Begs the reason as to why we haven't filled his position.
Why I ask, probably because he found it untenable due to money going out of the club and not being repaid together with loans secured on the ground, etc
Biggest issue is now CC, will he stay or will he go now.
Tough times ahead.

What has happened to our (once) great club - a club that was held up and revered not long ago as being a shining example of how a medium size football club SHOULD be structured and run?
Now, it seems, we are an example of the exact opposite.
Sad and very worrying times.

Thanks, Jeremy. Hope you're enjoying your £100 million.
Start every day off with a smile and get it over with
