Who selected that team?

Have we been playing murder ball in training and several players died?

Much as I'm glad to see change that team wouldn't bring much back from Roots Hall. Keeping the weakest and most culpable defender and dispensing with his mates seems odd for a start. Was it just a wake-up call?

Another inbound striker, Dallas from the Moors. Where will that leave Quigley?.
Thought Saturdays team looked refreshingly different enough to get us back on track. Just hope that the manager learned something.

It took 5 minutes for our captain to score an own goal against an attack led by a Chesterfield reject. That's my chief worry ........ apart from us leaving out our two best players entirely.

Dallas seems to score in bunches, and not-score in bunches too.

Quigley needed much more support from us than he was ever given. He isn't going to break scoring records, but he could lead a goal scoring attack. The fact that we were winning pre-Christmas and leaving out Tshimanga was almost miraculous. It couldn't last. Now that it hasn't and someone on Cookie's staff has woken up, it looks like the solution is to throw Quigley under the bus.

The wrong man has been convicted. I'll leave you to guess who I think is guilty. You don't need to be Poirot.

Two players I think we should look at for the future is Kane Drummond and James Berry at Macclesfield. Kane Drummond scored a lot of goals when he played for Warrington Rylands and James Berry has been scoring a lot of goals for Macclesfield as an attacking midfielder.

I've spent the last couple of years going on at about Kane Drummond who was the first player Rylands gave a proper contract to. He can score, and beat a man or two, and although not big he doesn't look scared. The trouble is Macclesfield bought him from Rylands, so he'll cost us now.

Sometimes Uncle Dev knows what he's talking about. But that IS only sometimes.
