Hertz v Hibs

I just watched a re-run of the Efe Ambrose hand-ball pk against Morton at Celtic Park in their Saturday Scottish Cup tie. Clancy was the referee and this was another one of the VAR calls to add to a lengthy list of gaffes - the crucial first goal and it was truly wrong and must be an embarrassing watch for the SFA. Celtic don't get many of these calls, but this was definitely one of them! How incompetent (or biased/frightened?) of any footie ref to watch a fast "ping-pong football movement" that finally bounces off a player's hand or arm!!! Some of these morons have clearly never played footie in their lives to really appreciate the absurdity of some of these decisions. And no surprise lotsa fans getting "turned off" with these ridiculous events that affect match results in some cases.

Neilsons complained about var decisions constantly despite being the beneficiary in practically every game. He's even got himself into bother this time.

Jim, why the hell would Neilson be complaining about VAR decisions if they’ve all, seemingly, gone in our favour.?
He got into bother for disputing an on field refereeing decision, feck all to do with VAR

The latest ref fiasco - today's Rangers v Saint Johnstone match full of controversy and Hun media "cover-up" again!!!! Another dodgy hand-baw/arm pk for Rangers Thumb down Thumb down Then Saint J's Nicky Clark (he's been pulled and knocked off balance by a Rangers player) given a red card (no VAR involvement to draw the ref to a video monitor??????) while minutes later the Rangers player, Ryan Jack, commits a horrible tackle on a Saints' player, apparently a stonewall red card. Only given a yellow card and Gollum (him again - surprise, surprise!) instructed by VAR to view the tackle - dismisses the recommendation to give a red card!!!!!?????? I'm gonna view this later on in the Sportscene video analysis!! Looks like Rangers benefit AGAIN eh!!! What a "turn off" as this ref farce continues regardless with no recourse, no review of this continuing farce and damage to the already damaged reputation of Scottish footie. James McFadden again trying to justify the pk, a joke!!! BUT CONDEMNING THE JACK TACKLE!!

More scandalous, corrupt refereeing. How he could check VAR and not send Jack off for that reckless challenge defies belief.

Seriously if it wasn't for the refs, the huns would be nearer 20 points behind.

I'm becoming more n more surprised there isn't a public outcry re this continual shit as more n more observers/fans are watching this nonsense being regularly pulled off with impunity and also with no post-match explanation esp regarding the worst decisions. Note Gollum is the first Scottish footie referee to dismiss a VAR review shown to him on a video monitor. THE PROBLEM FOR HIM HE HAS BEEN SHOWN UP AT THIS HISTORIC MOMENT AS GETTING IT BADLY WRONG AGAIN!! Thumb down

I finally got round to watching the "Freeman hand baw incident" v  Celtic in yesterday's latest victory for the Hoops at Tannadice. That offence was a clear yellow card decision, in this case a second yellow card for United's FB, Freeman, resulting in the player being sent off. Not given even after the VAR review that resulted in Celtic being awarded a pen!!! Huh I despair re such regular fundamental errors being evident in the game, decided by match officials who IMO should be replaced by others who will do the job properly (as practised in the EPL for years btw!!). This type of offence applies at any level of footie and it shouldn't be any different in Scot pro footie esp with VAR giving a second judgement on a clear error!! No wonder lots n lots of fans are put off the game up here when observing this kinda shit on a regular basis and nobody at a higher level doing anything to change it for the betterment of the game.

And Nicky Clark's red card rightly rescinded by the SFA yesterday!!!!?? Remind you of previous scenarios re Rangers being the beneficiaries while the other team goes down to 10 men? Slightly different, but the "fat boy", Morelos, being ignored re deliberate stamping on an opponent - ignored by refs and later on receives a retrospective red card????? This ref scandal never stops and IMO it's worse than it was before VAR was introduced!

Now that type of ref action re explaining a final decision would be great in Scot footie BUT it would destroy all remaining credibility of the ref erseholes who regularly make these shit decisions and end up making an even bigger fool of themselves!!! Laugh

This latest VAR protest/incident at Celtic Park really confirms this massively controversial issue is not gonna go away!!! Remember that Celtic FC are winning their games in a canter with far better player resources and wealth (just declared a pre-tax £28M annual profit) and yet many Hoops' fans aware of the VAR/ref scam that is regularly unfolding in the Scot Prem on a weekly basis and lotsa senior footie folk and media going around as though nothing has happened!! Thumb down The content of the protest banner viewed on Viacom? - VAR DECISON: DOUGLAS ROSS IS A C###!! Has it become political??? Nahhh IMO - Ross is a Hun and a conniving one at that!! He should never have been anywhere near doing an AR job in the Scot Prem TBF!!
