First the club said that Derby tickets were going on general sale online on Saturday at 10:30 am and then they changed at the last minute on Friday afternoon to 2:30 am and I woke up yesterday to find they were all sold out and now they can't put the rest of the tickets on sale tomorrow from the ticket office because they don't know how many they've sold online.
I've spoke to my mate who is a Derby fan and he said he'll try and get me a ticket in the home end.

Matt mate, that's pathetic. I hope your friend gets you there.
We couldn't organise ourselves to make a player eligible at MKD.
We can't sell tickets properly.
And we can't organise contract negotiations apparently.
Standards off the field have to match those on it, or eventually on-the-field will regress to match off.

I hope he can get me a ticket as well but he can't promise anything because there's a lot of people who don't support Chesterfield or Derby got tickets and are still getting tickets for this match. Imo they could have had Derby and Chesterfield fans sat side by side because we aren't rivals and both fans get on with each other and there's no bad blood. We could have no segregation at football matches if it wasn't for a small minority who are looking for an argument or a fight.
Club have made a statement
Supporters are advised that tickets have sold-out for this weekend's FA Cup tie at Derby County.
The majority of tickets for the game at the iPro Stadium were sold to season ticket holders and membership card holders.
They went on general sale online on Saturday morning and over 1,200 tickets were sold in the space of four hours. It was originally planned to start the online sale of tickets at 10am, but an announcement was made early on Friday afternoon that the start was being brought forward to 2.30am.
Ticket office staff worked over the weekend and on Monday to process the outstanding orders and a request was made to Derby for a further batch of tickets. Derby were, however, unable to make any more tickets available.
Spireites chief executive Chris Turner said: "Over 4,000 tickets were sold to season ticket holders and membership card holders, leaving only a limited number available on general sale. That shows once again the benefit of having a season ticket or membership card.
"On this occasion, the demand has outstripped supply and some fans have been unable to secure a ticket, which is unfortunate. We made a request to Derby for further tickets, but they were simply unable to accommodate any further away fans.
"We now look forward to playing Derby with the backing of over 5,000 fans, which is tremendous."

Derby didn't give Chesterfield a lot in the first place 5,700 isn't really a lot. Derby gave Southport 7,000 in the last round and Chesterfield could have sold 8,000-9,000 for this match easily. There's also a lot of interest from people who don't support Chesterfield or Derby, so armchair supporters who support the likes of United, Liverpool, City etc have probably got tickets when actual fans will miss out.

Tis indeed as you say, an absolute joke. Hope you manage to get one. This is a much better spectacle than some of the chosen tv matches.

I am surprised that BBC nor BT Sport are showing the game because there's a big chance there could be an upset. Both teams doing well in the league, a Derbyshire Derby as well. It will be on some weird Russian TV channel.
