Another week, another very predictable gamball scoreline. Quite a spread of points this week with the gamball providing a very good return - 3 maximums and only 3 negatives while in a week when 5 of the games had both teams scoring, only a single point scored with the score ball.
Minizin returned to form to top this week's scoring - it helps when your 2 correct scores just happen to be on the gamball and bonus! Derby collected his third consecutive maximum on the gamball (memo to self: must make this week's selection harder) to put him in 2nd place just ahead of SCO, another player returning to form after a recent dip, and the third of the gamball maximums. SCO was the sole recipient of a score ball point.
A bit of a gap to Snooty and Sanjay in mid-table. Snooty got 5 correct results including his gamble and bonus but failed to turn any of them into correct scores. Sanjay actually got the week's highest number of results - seven - but lost out due to not playing the gamball and having his bonus as one of his few incorrect predictions.
Down in single figures are AAA, returning after a few absences, BBB and Silver. AAA was the second player to shy away from the gamball and, like Sanjay, lost out on 3 extra points. He finished a point ahead of BBB who suffered on all of his balls and league leader Silver who was at least rescued by a positive bonus ball.
Alone at the foot of this week's table is BaggieOne whose points from 3 correct results were wiped out by failures on the gamball and bonus.
Interestingly, at least for sad stattos like myself, the gamball is still in positive figures for the season so far - in fact only 1 player has a negative score from this supposedly difficult ball. In. contrast the bonus - the one where you get to choose when to play it and so in theory should be easier - has only 4 players in the black and has overall cost 18 points.

Derby's spectacular gamball roll sees him charge to the top of the overall table dropping Silver to 2nd place. SCO remains in 3rd with Minizin's good week lifting him 2 places into 4th ahead of Snooty. All of the top 5 have now reached the 100 point mark. BBB's indifferent form drops him 2 places to 6th with Sanjay and BaggieOne some way adrift in 7th and 8th. AAA's return sees him back in the table but with some way to go to lift him from the bottom.

The week saw a tale of two halves, half the games were on Saturday and at the end of those there was a total of a paltry 17 points between all the players. Roll onto the 2nd half on Sunday an excellent 76 points were added!! Zinman again finished top this week, again with 20 points and he was one of the beneficiaries of this Super Sunday by scoring 17 of those points on this day. Getting a spot on Gamball always helps but he backed that up with a CR Bonus. Lady Jane continues her good form in 2nd spot with 17 points, she too got a spot on Gamball but missed on the Bonus. Themaclad is 3rd with 15 points, a much needed good week for him saw him get 2 CSs and 4 CRs to score on more games than any other player.
Amelia had a good week finishing 4th with 12 points, she got CRs on both the Gamball and Bonus. Salop, Blue Baggie and Dingle come next with Salop gaining one more point than the other two and all of them having scored on 4 games but Blue and Dingle getting a CR on the Gamball but Salop picking up a CR Bonus.
Stairs saw one of his worst weeks so far with just 6 points, he did get 4 CRs but missed on the Bonus. In last place is Twerton for the second week in a row but this time he scored even fewer points and ended on -2!! He missed on all his balls and managed to only score on 2 games, this could spell trouble for him in the table!!

Lots of changes in the table this week. The top 2 stay the same but Blue has extended his lead to 15 points, after that everyone else has moved up or down. Zinman has shot up the table with his 2 week haul of 40 points and finds himself in 3rd spot, he was 2nd bottom a couple of weeks ago!! Lady Jane continues to rise up the table and is now 4th, just a point behind Zin. Salop drops 2 places to 5th and Dingle drops 3 places to 6th, but there are only 3 points separating 3rd from 6th. Bit of a gap to Themaclad in 7th but that is one place higher than last week for him. Amelia has finally got herself off the bottom with 2 good weeks and this has seen Twerton's disastrous run of scores see him drop to the wooden spoon position!! Not sure I have ever seen so many players changing places in one week!!
