Man U v Liverpool postponed. If they get it back on in the next two days, it'll count as played on here. However, Man Utd are playing in Rome on Thursday, so I don't think it will get played, unless they play it Monday afternoon, probably without letting anybody know they're doing it to avoid another demo.
If it doesn't go ahead before the end of this matchday on Tuesday, it will be classed as postponed. The pools Panel will not be coming into operation. Rolleyes

Results for Matchday 35:Well the season seems to be fizzling out without a spark. Baggie Bob is 35 points clear with just one week to go and looking like Man City. Still in second place is jjamez, but really is too far behind.

The chase for those coveted 3rd and 4th place spots though is hotting up. SCO is hanging on to 3rd, but theo is only 2 points behind now, with themaclad not far off in 5th.

Still in 6th, but with this weeks top score, is Lord Snooty. The top hatted, tap dancing toff, topped the table with a twinkling twenty points.

Shep scored 18 pts in second spot this week, but still remains in 7th, ahead of Ritchie (who correctly badgered his league position), neonfox in 9th and Amelia well ahead of Beefy. Whatever happened to Beefy.

Anyway. Next season, if I can remember, I shall be introducing bonus points for the weekly winner. Five points for whoever scores the most points in the week. Five points each if it's a tie. Unless you think it's a bad idea.

I don't mind the bonus points idea, but maybe it should be for whoever gets the most correct scores?

I wouldn't mind that (who this year has top the list more times)?   Plus 5pts for the correct scores (so who this year topped  that}  And would it have made any difference to the positions now?

Something to work on your lordship. Big Grin Big Grin

LS, I am all for innovation but I do feel rewarding the player at the top with 5 points will see the leaders naturally get those points most weeks and I feel make the league less exciting. Just my thoughts. I would prefer to see those points awarded to the player with the most spot on scores each week like BBB suggested, I would imagine that would be spread more evenly among the group of players.

One change I always think you could make is when a player predicts that one of the teams in the Huddersfield games will not score and therefore predicts no scorer for one team then they should get two points if that team doesn't score.

Being a scorer for the WBA PL I really understand and appreciate the efforts you put in to this and for that I commend and thank you!!!
